@naijaconfra I thought this group was created to counter killings and violence in cultism? Your write-up is highly disappointing cos it promote violence, retaliation and killings in cultism. NC feels disappointed that BAN didn't get engaged in retaliatory attack over surulere incident.

Many Buccaneer (BAN) cultists today are not d¥ing only because of cult clashes - they are d¥ing because they are trapped in a cult group built on denial, deception, and falsehood. A group that refuses to accept what it truly is cannot protect its own people. Members are fed a narrative that shields them from the truth, making them believe they belong to something harmless, until reality hits them. By the time they realize the truth, it is often too late. What destroys many of them is not just violence, but the dangerous illusion they were made to live in.
Naija Confra maintains that BAN (Brothers Across Nigeria international) remains one of the most confused cult groups and the number one self-denying cult group in Nigeria (Denial-in-Chief). They are willing to sacrifice the truth just to protect an image. They deny their actions and even deny their own members when it becomes convenient. Just to protect a name, they deny their own. Their “charity for show” is used as a mask to mislead the public, while behind that mask lies a cycle of violence, retaliation, and de@th. Young people are drawn in with false beliefs, only to become victims of a cult that abandons them when it matters most. As a Buccaneer, you are more likely to be denied by your cult group than by any other group. Buccaneer (BAN) is a big disgrace.
BAN is no different from other violent cult groups that have rebranded themselves after leaving behind a history of violence and crime in Nigeria and beyond. Changing a name does not erase the past, and it does not change the reality. BAN is Buccaneer, and Buccaneer is BAN - two names, one truth. Going forward, just as we have done with other cult groups, Naija Confra will start using the BAN logo in all our reports concerning the Buccaneers cult group.
Reject Buccaneer. Reject BAN. Reject Cultism.

I went to this hospital at Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja Lagos
I wanted to see the gynecologist.
I paid for registration, 23,766
Paid for consultation, 119,000
Paid for tests close to 350k (it was about three hundred and forty something)
Minus my T.fare o
Now after close to a month, my results are ready. Oya o, tell me what the tests says. NO, I HAVE TO PAY 64,000 FIRST before the gynecologist can interpret what my tests says.
I almost lost it with them! They said it's the policy.
And frankly i don't have 64k to pay for tests interpretation. I told them to send the results to my mail.
I'm so heartbroken and disappointed.

While I was at the Frontline in 2014, out of frustration, I sent a message to my commander, Colonel Kini. The message read:
“Sir, I am due for rotation from the Northeast. I have sent several messages to the unit, our Chief Clerk, and the RSM stating that I am due for rotation from the Frontline. They told me that you are the only one who can authorize my return to the unit. Sir, this is my third year on the Frontline. If, by any chance, I lose my life in this battle, I will hunt you and your family before I go to rest.”
Oh, I never knew I had just created a bigger problem for myself.
The Colonel ordered our Chief Clerk, Master Warrant Officer Olugbeja, to print and save the message. They kept it until I returned to the unit about six months later. Then, letters were sent to Operation Restore Order informing them of our rotation. I was happy, not knowing I had bought myself serious trouble.
One day, the entire unit was gathered for a durbar (a meeting) with the Commander, Col. Kini. Towards the end of the meeting, the Commander asked the Chief Clerk to bring forward the letter I had sent him from the Frontline. After that, I was ordered to report myself at the 2 Division Garrison Guardroom.
Two days later, I was released from the guardroom. I had already been charged, and my 252 had been forwarded to the Garrison Commander, then Brigadier General Ilo, pending trial.
On the day of the trial, Brigadier General Ilo said to me, “Your commander asked me to dismiss you because of the message you sent him from the Frontline.”
At that moment, I thought, “Is this how my military career will end?” But the Brigadier General continued, “However, I will give you 28 days IHL (Imprisonment with Hard Labour).”
My eyes blurred instantly. But Jesus intervened on my behalf.
The commander spoke to me as if he knew me from somewhere. When Colonel Kini heard that I had not been dismissed, he immediately ordered my release so I could proceed with my posting to Jaji, Kaduna, right after serving my IHL.
Hmm… military life 🪖 is not easy, but it can be a stepping stone for those who believe in their future.
The picture below 👇 is me while serving my IHL.
