@JetuJetu57 @BenPopeCST That is lazy thinking. MacKinnon/Makar/Necas/… McDavid/Draisaitl….. Kucherov/Point/Vasilevskiy/Hagel… Celebrini….. Had the Sharks gotten in, Celebrini would have a much higher proportion of responsibility for it than players who are still better than him had for their teams.

My two cents on the Celebrini/Hart Trophy debate: I don’t care what the Hart wording is. In every other sport, the MVP goes to the best player. It would be nonsensical for the NHL to do it differently. Fortunately, in reality, it does it the same way. And that’s how I vote.

Per @TheFourthPeriod we have heard that the 2nd pick from the Sharks could be had. Sharks would more than likely take a defenseman like Chase Reid, Keaton Verhoeff, Albert Smits or Carson Carel if they trade back from that 2nd pick Blackhawks could move the 4th overall pick for a winger for Connor Bedard Kraken could move the 7th pick, Shane Wright + as well We rarely see trades in the top 10 in drafts, but there is always a chance
