Fuck. Just ruined my streak. Wanted to get on the highway sooner instead of taking the surface street and just took over without thinking about it. Does anyone have a good explanation to why the em dash (—) is rendered out so much by LLMs The explanation is always that it's in the training data a lot. I don't think that's true at all. And why is it so hard to get LLM's to stop using them?

Just go to setting -> text replacement Then make a new one. Type the em dash as the phrase, and copy and paste an en dash from Google into the shortcut.
