DOGE dropped the largest Medicaid dataset in history couple days ago. Everyone's posting screenshots of the top billers. Nobody's digging into WHY the numbers look like that. I downloaded all 227 million rows. Here's what I found underneath. 🧵
DOGE HHS@DOGE_HHS

Today the HHS DOGE team open sourced the largest Medicaid dataset in department history. This dataset contains aggregated, provider-level claims data for a specific billing code over time. For example, using this dataset, it would have been possible to easily detect the large-scale autism diagnosis fraud seen in Minnesota. Download the data yourself: opendata.hhs.gov

Garry your biggest ship was multi agent support? It's skill files Claude reads them from ~/.claude/skills Everyone else reads them from ~/.agents/skills Packaging is slightly different for each of the agents sure. But you don't need 12.2K LOC for packaging code 😂 How long will you continue the delusions of grandeur?

This is my /retro for the week on the public GStack repo Even if you didn't use anything else on GStack, it's helpful to use retro to visualize your last week. And to silence the haters: this is all open source on my github and yes, I use GStack to make GStack (This is just 1 of 4 active projects I am working on right now, nights/weekends)

Idk why there's a hubaloo about it. Of course it's a strong oss base. You'd be stupid to not start there. Of course it's something they would have licensed properly. Every company is supposed to now declare all the oss projects they build on top of? Very odd line of thinking from the critics Congrats on the launch. It's rapid and quite good in fresh sessions. But I'll be honest it has one of the worst degradations I've ever seen past like 50% context! Complete hallucinations. Completely loses track of plans. Gives up way too early etc. You all should look into that @leerob But for small quick projects where scope is defined, I'm enjoying taking it for a spin

Yep, Composer 2 started from an open-source base! We will do full pretraining in the future. Only ~1/4 of the compute spent on the final model came from the base, the rest is from our training. This is why evals are very different. And yes, we are following the license through our inference partner terms.
Fynn@fynnso

was messing with the OpenAI base URL in Cursor and caught this accounts/anysphere/models/kimi-k2p5-rl-0317-s515-fast so composer 2 is just Kimi K2.5 with RL at least rename the model ID

T3 Code now supports Claude. If you have the Claude Code CLI installed and signed in, you can use it with T3 Code. Hopefully the lawyers won't make us remove this 🙃

been using gstack over the last 24 hours and i am incredibly impressed it has insane skills and does stuff I didn't know was possible with skills the technical implementation here is fantastic!! highly recommend this to any founder! uplevels your thinking, helps you clarify what to work on next, and helps you execute i rarely promote stuff like this but Garry blew it out of the water with this one everyone should run gstack: 1. open claude in your codebase 2. prompt claude with this: "run git clone github.com/garrytan/gstac… ~/.claude/skills/gstack && cd ~/.claude/skills/gstack && ./setup"
Garry Tan@garrytan

I'm on a journey to build a software factory, and this is my open source project gift to you. github.com/garrytan/gstack

The blog makes no sense to me. It talks about scoped credentials but if the upstream service to which the original creds belong don't do short lived scoped creds how is wrapping it in your local server doing it? "Sara can still read and write. But her agent can only read". Unless you're using a LLM under the hood to classify every call I have a hard time believing you have encoded every possible service out there and it's read and write patterns. Also what happens when the coding agent writes a script that connects to an external provider via implicit API keys required in env variables or known paths? This stinks like something that would work in 75% of the simple cases and then completely crash and burn the moment you introduce a modicum of complexity

@Cloudflare used to be something i actively avoided because of their insane dashboard, confusing and leaky wrangler setup But they have really won me over. Lots of good primitives available out the box in the form of Workers, R2, D1 and DX is really good now!

@iannuttall Pick whatever theme sounds interesting from here: candesign.techbrohomelab.xyz There's prompts you can feed directly to your coding agent. I use all these extensively. I promise your UIs will come out looking slick. Cost is Free 99

so far, even ui.sh can't help gpt 5.4 design good templates the only way to design decent stuff is starting from an existing template/ui kit and very slowly iterating on it you need the taste, because 5.4 doesn't! what I'd like to see from ui is pulling in actual designs/components to the quality of tailwindui and then giving prompts to change those rather than trying to build from scratch.
Ian Nuttall@iannuttall

the true test: can ui.sh turn gpt 5.4 into a good frontend designer?

Our biggest open-source repos are getting overwhelmed by AI slop which literally makes Github unusable (~a new pull request every 3 minutes). Fun new challenges in an agentic world!

Today I'm thrilled to open source what I've been working on... Meet Fabro (github.com/fabro-sh/fabro), the dark software factory for small teams of expert engineers. Fabro gets you out of the REPL (read-eval-prompt-loop) by layering deterministic workflow graphs over agent sessions. It's batteries included with cloud sandboxes, quality sign offs, multi-model ensembles, and Git checkpoints. It's MIT licensed so you can fork and own your AI coding toolchain. Single Rust binary with zero deps. I'd love to hear what you think!

The AI space is electric but there's so much slop and reskinning of same ideas over and over I sympathize with business owners or heck even executives at normal companies who hear everything but literally have no idea where to start This is the market that needs reaching

No there's plenty of very good collection of skills. Garry just didn't care to learn about things and use them properly. Instead hopped straight into the chatbox and asked it to "build me this. Make no mistakes" Obra superpowers: github.com/obra/superpowe… is all you need. github.com/affaan-m/every… is a bloated one but still good

I get it a lot of people here hate Garry, YC, etc. but with all the hate, you'd think they have a really nice way to improve people's claude code / agentic code setup that they would open source and recommend over gstack But no, people just prefer to hate all day

Garry loves clanker opinions so much he should ask a model to provide an unbiased view of his "stack" I was even kind in the prompt i gave it and urged it to really really give Garry some extra credit because he's trying so hard after all

Garry please. It's not too late to stop and go do stuff you may actually be good at. You have bots and bootlickers convinced you are a "builder" now Anyone that knows anything about this space sees you like a kid who sold his first lemonade going around saying he's a businessman now. Except you're a 44 year old full grown man
