I will be voting NO on final passage of the FISA 702 Reauthorization Bill if it does not include a warrant provision and other reforms to protect US citizens’ right to privacy. Yesterday I offered these 3 amendments to fix the program, but they were not allowed last night.

The best way to protect the US against Russia is to provide military assistance to Ukraine. Doing so would also enhance deterrence in Asia, demonstrating that the US does not abandon democracies. Trump and team have no sense of grand strategy at all.

I am sick and tired of this congressional abdication of responsibilities. When they were elected to Congress, it was to serve the interest of the American people, not subordinate their job to the President of the United States, regardless of party. Right now we have the worst of all worlds: a president who is taking action based on the interest of a third country, and a Congress, who has abdicated its power for the American people in support of an individual who is acting outside of the rule of law. Again, I repeat: every single member of Congress that’s up for election this November should be voted out of office. I will not vote for any incumbent, no matter who it is.
