@wealthby50 That should always be the goal. It’s mine too.
Happy Friday!

@Budgetdog_ I personally think the market is getting ahead of itself. And we don’t know what’s going to happen in the future. But again, what do I know. If you believe it, back it!

100 new followers in the past couple of days — thank you! 🙏
For those who are new here, I’m James (@itsjameshall).
I’m a 35-year-old dad of two young boys, based in the UK, and completely obsessed with building wealth.
I share the exact systems, lessons, and tips I’ve learned on controlling spending, automating investing, and compounding money — all with the goal of helping others (especially young professionals) reach financial freedom faster… while still having fun along the way.
I also write longer threads and a newsletter. If that sounds useful, you can sign up here: jameshall.kit.com/Excited to connect with more people on the same journey.
Drop a reply and tell me a bit about you 👇
Looking forward to the journey ahead 🚀

@SanthanaAsh I invest£500 a month. Plus pension match and have overpaid mortgage and added to home equity every time I’ve moved house (twice)
English

@ItsJamesHall Well done! How much were you investing every month for the last 10 years to go from 0 to 700k! 🙌

One of the best financial decisions I've made: locking in a 10-year mortgage when rates were on the floor.
It's still paying dividends, and will keep doing so for another 4 years.
Base rate today: 3.75%. Mine: 2.24%.
Sometimes the economy opens a door. Your job is just to walk through it.
What's a financial decision you made years ago that's still paying off today?

@ItsJamesHall Accumulating Facebook stock throughout 2012 after their 'failed' IPO at an average of $26. Was $577 at tonight's close, in case you're wondering.
English

@ItsJamesHall Not quite as good but paid a chunk to get out of a mortgage with 9 months to run to get a 10 year at 3.05% during the Truss debacle.
English

@ItsJamesHall I nearly did the opposite of everything you said…
English

@Craig_invests I currently use my own through spreadsheets. Looking to build some more intuitive ones to help though…
English

@ItsJamesHall Wow amazing net worth! Well done

@tocrno @Gltchdctr We don’t suffer. It’s also tax and maintenance on top. Would rather put that money to work.
English

@ItsJamesHall @Gltchdctr Wait what?
You can get a Ford fiesta for £2k and stop suffering with 1 car
