Anyone using Claude Code this week and counting on it for analysis, double-check all output and recheck that it's doing things. Even with markdown-based checklists and hard gates to verify it has run on certain things, Opus has flat-out lied about completing tasks to save time 5-6 times this week for projects. Just fyi.

We’re missing a much bigger point on Mythos. It wasn’t even trained specifically for cybersecurity. It’s just that much better at doing work in general. It’s that good at cyber because it’s that good at everything. What do you think this is going to do to knowledge work? Mythos can chain multiple low and medium vulns together to create a high or critical. This is a task that far less than 1% of cybersecurity experts have ever done. Hell, probably less than 1% of all pentesters. So if it can do that, how do you think it’ll do at sending emails, doing analysis, writing reports, and the other 99% of everyday knowledge work? Do you really still think that Chris from Idaho has any chance competing against AI for a knowledge work job? In six months or a year, there will be very inexpensive models that can do knowledge work almost as good as Mythos. So companies have the choice of paying Chris $84,000 plus a whole bunch of benefits for 40 hours of mediocre work, or they can pay probably $100-$1000 for an AI that can do 10-1000 times the work per hour and that works 24/7. This Mythos announcement is getting attention because of cyber, but the real story is work in general.

all i was doing was chatting this morning getting ideas/refining projects with opus 4.6 and i hit my 5x max limit in 30 minutes. BEFORE the "magic window".. not even any deep research.. NOT EVEN ANY DOCUMENTS why?! they gave me 100$ in extra usage so at least i can use it but i'm gonna burn through that in a day. now im balancing usage between multiple models to keep costs down while trying to keep output quality high.. but i'm making progress.. so yay.

He put elderly Gold Star Mom Tina Peters in prison for 9 years, effectively a life sentence, for the “crime” of exposing Democrat Jena Griswold’s election fraud. @HackingDave They’ve definitely done something. Claude is also creating problems that aren’t there and then creating solutions to its own introduced problems. Should just rename it to Trump.

Since the usage changes on Claude during peek, I also feel like the model has gone completely haywire. Ton's of mistakes errors - longer times to address issues. I have a feeling they are experiencing some crazy internal issues at the moment. Switched over to codex, still cruising well. I'm sure this will be codex sucks for a bit, switch to Claude another week.
