@phalgooon @martyamark You can create custom Gmail links which will open a new email for the user. But they aren’t universal like mailto: unfortunately

Can we make mailto: links illegal? Nothing ruins my day faster than clicking "Contact Us" and watching my mac launch the mail app and immediately crash.

i rly don't know the diff between vercel & cloudflare but vercel marketing is more polished... which actually makes me believe cloudflare engineering is better. i have no reason to think this... other than in any eng rivalry, i assume the better marketed product is worse...

@mauricekleine Generally a long time fan of Vercel but I feel it. The party that looks the most anti-OSS is not the one that will win over developers

👎🔼 👍☁️ excited to try Void and move more things to CF these childish attacks are so lame and i’m tired of it

Cloudflare’s mission is to fork the entire developer ecosystem and destroy open source. Vinext was an excuse to swindle developers into using their proprietary runtimes instead of @nodejs. It shipped with 10 vulnerabilities that they cheerfully handed to a .gov website. Now they’ve done it again. They can’t run just-bash, because it’s open source software that runs on @nodejs. It has to work “at the edge”, which is a thing no one wants (We learned the hard way… Not even the Node core developers they hired to work on Workers instead want it!)

Oh god, I was going to reach out to you on Monday after the weekend. I was really just experimenting here myself, I really should have added an experimental label or whatever. My plan was to play with it a bit and then come back to chat to you about adding hooks. I tried my best here, this wasn’t about beef or whatever.

@grhmc @HSVSphere @alightinastorm Right, its a tracking cookie but they build PostHog so its in-house. They might be the only PostHog users that can claim this.

@atiorh @VoteforPedro @Apple @macwhisperapp @WisprFlow The restriction where you cannot use mic on a custom keyboard. Which app are you showing here? Afaik there's no app that's worked out how to do this without some janky workaround.

Can’t believe the level of demand and confusion on this. > @Apple modernized their speech-to-text last year and it now matches ~whisper-small > 3rd party iOS keyboards like @superwhisper @macwhisperapp @WisprFlow etc. have been shipping whisper-large level models for a year > the “mind-blowing accuracy” has less to do with the model and more to do with personal custom vocabulary learning
Nico Albanese@nicoalbanese10

Please Apple, can you add a whisper quality transcription model to iOS?

This is a dumb way of thinking. All of software was built on top of the work of other developers.
GamersNexus@GamersNexus

@PatrickMoorhead If you used tokens and AI, you did not, in fact, "personally build" it. Millions of people whose work was stolen built it. You benefited from it.

@JasonBotterill @BLACKWELL154380 I thought 5.4 was supposed to be a slightly bigger model. Isn’t the reason more that OpenAI has deeper pockets and wants to win back developers from Claude?

The ChatGPT Pro plan gives way more value than Claude Max now. GPT-5.4 thinking is high taste and unlimited, much more Codex limits, and you actually get /fast mode as part of the subscription. Anthropic doesn’t let you use /fast mode even on the $200 tier.

@thekitze 5.4 sucks. it injects ChatGPT personality into every turn ... I hate ChatGPT's personality. It keeps doing this annoying thing too where it sends me excuses instead of doing shit. Just keeps telling me what it's going to do instead of doing it.

We don’t have evidence of a widespread issue with codex usage being drained faster than it should but there are enough reports and we have reset rate limits for plus & pro subscriptions while we work towards wrapping up our investigation over the coming 1-3 days.
Tibo@thsottiaux

We have found one issue that leads to some users seeing inconsistent usage across sessions but it is quite rare, affecting less than 1% of users. We are working on a mitigation and continuing the investigation. For the rest we are not seeing evidence of higher usage consumption other than the advertised token cost increase of GPT-5.4 being 30% higher than GPT 5.2 and GPT-5.3-Codex.

Wild day. 5k users already. Cutting a new release before bed. - Fix bullet points in markdown outputs not rendering - Fix crash on unsupported languages in code blocks - Fix shell path detection for non-zsh/bash shells - Fix errors on non-git projects - Fix project paths with "~" - Prevent bad paths from being added as projects Lots more to do. Thank you everyone for reporting issues, will continue grinding 🫡
Theo - t3.gg@theo

T3 Code is now available for everyone to use. Fully open source. Built on top of the Codex CLI, so you can bring your existing Codex subscription.

Just incase you're also looking for Cloudflare credits ( there's $5k, $25k, and $100k I think), and alot of other credits too. go to fushly.com and become a member. If there's any credit you need and not listed, you can request it there too.

$5k free credits from cloudflare i've been deploying all my tech on CF > frontend > backend > storage > queues has been working perfectly so far all at a cost of $5/month if i keep this burn rate, $5k in credits is enough for 30 years :)))
