And all they did was to break the law How's your alliance holding up today, Zack ? The one between the LBGTQ community and the most mediaeval misogynistic movement on the planet ?
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

@Daisycat32 @tonyphatt @ChrisJoDec1963 @PatriotNorth1 @zaelefty also if we are talking about gametes, even that is still variable as there are males whom are born with the opposite gametal structure and vice versa for females. sex is interesting because it cannot be solely binary, otherwise intersex people quite literally wouldnt exist.

There is no such thing as intersex. There are rare people with congenital sex development disorders—something you don’t have. Changing your secondary sex characteristics with cross-sex hormones does not change your sex. It merely causes symptoms that mimic an endocrine disorder.

@BopBoopBeepBeep @LexaCola2 We redevelop ourselves as male or female. So it's really not a slam dunk like you think. The actual thing you're looking for is this: You are male or female based on how society has coercively gendered you. Intersex people can be trans. Actually, all trans people are intersex.

Lauren Edwards MP statement says “[The TIA bill] was rightly described as the safest and most robust assisted dying law anywhere in the world” No. It was only described this way by the people trying to push it through. Here is how others described the Bill: 1. The Royal College of Physicians said the Bill is unsafe 2. The Royal College of Psychiatrists said the Bill is unworkable, and unsafe 3. The British Geriatrics Society said the Bill’s safeguards are not adequate 4. Domestic abuse charities said the Bill is unsafe 5. Organisations representing disabled people said the Bill is unsafe 6. Royal College of GPs says the Bill lacks adequate safeguards 7. Lord Stevens, ex NHS CEO, said legislating for assisted dying in the current climate of hospice cuts is “utterly ridiculous” 8. MIND says the safeguards are not adequate 9. The CLADD group at KCL (DOI) have said the Bill is “not fit for purpose” 10. The British Association of Social Workers say the Bill’s is not safe enough Spot the pattern?

@francesbarber13 I went to Spain, as a 16 year old, with a mate of mine, by boat and several trains. My mother , waiting for us at our destination, didn’t sleep for 2 nights.

I remember hitchhiking through Europe at 18 with 5 friends. We split up to get rides. ‘See you outside Nantes Cathedral in 2 days’. And we did.

@QcWynter I find it hard to believe these kids could tie their own shoe laces. I rather suspected, as you have wondered, that someone planted the idea in their heads.

I have been wondering if these kids came up with the violent break in & rampage plan on their own or if there was there an éminence grise who put them up to it? If so, why did he or she not come forward to claim responsibility? Would have helped considerably with mitigation.
Ben Goldsmith@BenGoldsmith

The lives of these young Palestine Action activists have been ruined by university. They were radicalised to the point of madness on campus and now they’re facing years in jail. The whole thing is an utter tragedy and a scary indictment of our universities.

@AngelicaDevine_ There are a very few rare cases where men have gone to such extreme lengths to mutilate their own bodies that they could pass (on a brief visual glance) as women. You, unfortunately for you, are not one of them.

@jamesrhicks54 @GeoRosenberg @andrewdoyle_com @ThomsAdrian Have you seen his timeline? It's clear that he is a Jew hating fanatic. A German Nazi with a list of everyone who refuses to uncritically support Palestine, & UK terrorism activists. This guy is practising immigration law in the UK! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Reform - Failed Tories seeking revenge on Conservatives Restore - Failed Reformers seeking revenge on Nigel Conservatives - recognise mistakes were made so implemented strong leader with robust policies and forcing U-turns and Minister resignations at every PMQs. Only one party has the skill, experience and proper motivation to get the job done.

1/ Zack and pals are peddling the attack line “no jury convicted them of terrorism” to try to undermine the sentences in this case. Let me explain why this is fundamentally wrong. In a criminal trial the jury is the judge of the facts and the judge is the judge of the law.
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

I'd never condone violence against a police officer - this is utterly dishonest. The jury weren't judging them on a terrorism offence. This is an awful sleight of hand. The creeping encroachment of terror laws onto protest & removal of our juries should worry all of us.

@andrewdoyle_com @ThomsAdrian There is no doubt it was neither extreme nor gratuitous. That's why the jury did not convict of GBH with intent. This is the judge's view without evidence.

@Lilly_Bee61 @PetroNicolaides @CheckCharlieB Agreed. Yes, the Tories made a pig’s ear of, particularly the last 5 years of government but Boris was always going to be a disaster. Like you, I looked at reform, but no one comes close to Kemi at the moment.

@CheckCharlieB Having felt politically homeless for a long while, I am ready to forgive the past and vote Conservative again, this is all down to Kemi - the more I listen to her the more I like her. She has grown and matured politically and could be a strong leader, lets see.

To every former Conservative who left for Reform: come home. The Conservative Party is your political family, and under Kemi Badenoch we have the strongest leader in British politics today. She is leading the fight for Conservative values, rebuilding our party, and offering a serious alternative government for the United Kingdom. Reform may offer protest, but Conservatives offer leadership, experience and a path back to government. Come home. Help rebuild. The future is Conservative. 💙🇬🇧
