Group texts, Teams, Waze, ton of 3rd party apps.. how about stream music at higher bit rate than a bad MP3 I downloaded on dialup. Outside of tidal, native Tesla music apps compress music way too much. Spotify is only so so on native app, still well below CarPlay via Bluetooth. What’s the point of having a nice sound system when teslas native apps compress the shit out of the music…

@SawyerMerritt What’s so good about car play? I use iPhone but never had a chance to use it? What does it do that Tesla can’t do?

Here's the thing, I much prefer Tesla's native software over Apple CarPlay, but if having CarPlay helps convince some people to buy a Tesla, then I'm all for it. At the end of the day, using CarPlay would be optional. You wouldn't have to use it. Some people just really want it.

I’ve only peeked here and there. Really can’t justify watching Pohlads clowning us all again. Team basically looks and results are, exactly what we all thought they would be given what these clowns have down the last three years. Really nothing unexpected here, it’s exactly what we all expected…

@DevinOlsenn Same Navigation seems like it’s regressed causing me to use the turn signals or disengage. Yesterday, in hurry, it was doing 78 in a 55, with a decent amount of congestion. Wife thought something was broken.. felt fast because of the amount of traffic..

Tesla FSD does basically all of my driving with a push of a button - but to be transparent I would say on almost every one of my drives I still have to do these two things: - change the speed profiles regularly to deal with speed control issues - use the turn signals; this is to stop the car from making stupid lane changes or to get the car into the proper lane so it doesn’t miss an exit. I still think FSD is amazing but I really cannot wait until these issues and the few other lingering problems with FSD get solved.

@ORuokojoki @SawyerMerritt That’s most likely because you never use them.. Brake hard a couple times and will clean the surface. I never use my brakes so I never hear them squeak but common issue as dust and oxidation can occur because they aren’t used…

@Tesla I bought my 67 yr old father a Model Y LR RWD on 2/2 after test driven the FSD v14 and the car come with FSD v13.2.9 and stuck to this version for a month without upgrade! Please fix this test driven v14 and deliver v13 bug, it’s not fair for consumer especially for old people.

Agree, I’d think it’s safer liability wise for Tesla, is FSD is driving faster or more aggressively, it’s because the user used speed settings to tell it to go 15-20 mph over speed limit, vs a default profile. At least with speed offset, driver has specifically chosen to go a certain speed..

If FSD ever causes an accident and it's proven to be a result of Mad Max' driving behaviour I do not see how that ends well for Tesla. They got sued (and lost) when someone crashed their car using Auto-Steer - and that was a blatant misuse of the system. I don't mind when FSD goes a bit above the speed limit, but I do not think FSD should drive as fast as Mad Max does... optically it looks bad and it IS less safe.. I know people clutch their pearls when I suggest the car not speed as much as it does - but at the end of the day I just want our roads to be as safe as possible THAT is why I love FSD so much and what gets me excited about the technology.

I’ve been having a lot of issues as well. And then when I try to correct with turn signals, either stopping a turn or indicating to turn. It doesn’t, so have to disengage FSD. I bought FSD outright on 2/14, so not someone bitching to justify why they would or wouldn’t sign up for a sub.. I’m sold on it, just need the navigation to improve. Today the route it took on something that would take 15 mins took almost 25 and I have no idea how it rationalize dthe route it took…

@Tesla The navigation on my model 3 FSD v14.2.2.5 is terrible. It consistently makes routing and address mistakes. It acts like it doesn’t know where it’s going. It drives great. I’m losing confidence in its ability to get to the programs location. The Achilles heel of FSD.

I don’t disagree with your points at all but the flip side is the degree served sort of as meeting minimal quals, right or wrong. What I’m seeing in technology is layoffs for much of middle mgmt and a reduction in hiring entry level because there is an expectation they don’t have expertise and for general knowledge or hearing, we ca do that with AI. Main point being AI is impacting employment faster than any technology in my lifetime. Where as the internet added jobs and needs at all skill levels, I’m not seeing that with AI.

If AI helps grow the economy and everyone benefits, then it will live, grow and and prosper. If AI wipes out millions of jobs then it will crash the economy and eliminate its own reason to exist. 75% of the U.S. economy is consumer spending. AI must GROW the consumer or else it must go away.

@AquaponicsIdaho @SullyCNBC You must not know a lot of 20 something’s. I’ve never seen so many college graduates and masters degrees holders not able to get largely entry level jobs especially in technology. No jobs -> no money -> no ability to buy -> no demand in the economy…

I’m a little confused about this thinking 🤔 Why, or how would ai reduce consumer demand? The “work” part might be replaced by Optimus and ai, but they don’t eat, dress, vacation etc. I understand some of the production jobs will be replaced. But history shows that people pivot.

@dallasteslaclub Uhh, 13.2.9, IMpatiently awaiting ANY version of V14. Just bought a month of FSD to find I was still on V13, 😡 since when you aren't subscribed, you have no way to know what version you have. But I now believe your version won't change if you aren't subscribed, which is crap!

Notice how much of future govt expenditures are due to Medicare? Unless you’re stating we should no longer fund senior citizen healthcare, I strongly disagree with you as it is the single biggest cause of our budget problems for the foreseeable future. Many of the conditions that drive that expensive are directly related to poor diet. I have no issues paying for conditions that are unavoidable, just bad luck. But there needs to be some accountability and personal responsibility. You make bad diet choices, you pay for the future healthcare those decisions will cause.

Notice how costs of healthcare went out of control after Medicare and Medicaid were started. Hmmm
