Made my living pitching in the later innings for 18 years .. some good games .. some bad games .. my heart sank for Kirkering.. until you’ve been out there in the fire you have no idea what it’s like. That bump can be the greatest place to be and then it can also be the loneliest place on earth. No place to hide … sports can be a cruel way to make a living. My heart sank for him.
