We’ve got a range of hoodies, sweatshirts, and T-shirts available , all with unique designs created by me, with love, for our incredible community This has been a long time in the making, and I honestly couldn’t be more proud (and a little emotional!) seeing it finally come to life. Every single item you buy helps us continue supporting the dogs and people who need us most ,so truly, every penny makes a difference. Just to let you know, we’re working with a trusted third-party company who will handle all orders and delivery. This is raw. This is real. And we need you. Right now, dogs in our care depend on us for everything , safety, shelter, medical care… survival. But we’re at a breaking point. Our sanctuary needs security.
We urgently need CCTV in place to keep these dogs safe. 
We have a new kennel block ready to go in…. but we can’t install it without a concrete base, electric, and plumbing. And here’s the truth —
We REFUSE to take money away from vet care / foster care and other overheads to cover these costs.
That fund is for saving lives. For emergencies. For the dogs who need treatment to make it through another day. So this is where we ask you , please don’t scroll past. 🙏 £1. Just £1.

When emergencies happen, every second matters , but for many dog owners, there’s an added layer of fear that can’t be ignored: “What will happen to my dog?” Imagine needing urgent medical care, knowing you may be admitted to hospital, and having no one to call… no one to ensure your beloved companion is safe, fed, and comforted. That worry can be overwhelming ,even in the most critical moments. This is where Dogs on the Streets step in. We provide immediate, compassionate support for dog owners in crisis ,working alongside emergency services to make sure no dog is left alone, and no owner has to choose between their health and their pet. The other day, 12-year-old Bella came into our care following an emergency call from the @Ldn_Ambulance Her owner needed urgent hospital treatment and was likely to be admitted. Knowing Bella would be safe, warm, and cared for brought a sense of calm to an incredibly stressful situation , not just for the owner, but for the paramedics too. This is why our work matters. Because behind every emergency is a person who loves their dog and a dog who depends on them. The last four days have been incredibly difficult at the sanctuary and I feel it’s important to share what’s been happening. On Thursday our electricity suddenly went down at the front of the sanctuary. We contacted @UKPowerNetworks and were told it wasn’t their issue because electricity was still coming through the main board. We were advised to call out a private electrician. 17 hours later a UK Power van arrived at our neighbour’s property where they were experiencing the exact same problem. After speaking with the engineers it became clear the issue was related to both us as we have three-phase supply. Eventually we were told that two overhead cables need repairing, so the phases were switched to what they called a “healthy phase” so we could have electric trim until full repair on Tuesday. Unfortunately since that change we still have no power running to our boiler, which means the sanctuary has been without heating and hot water since Thursday. I want to be very clear that the engineers who have attended have been absolutely fantastic professional, kind and doing everything they can. I cannot fault them at all. However, the customer service response has been incredibly disappointing. We have repeatedly been told to call electricians and handle things ourselves, while the engineers on site believe the issue is connected to the phase switch that was carried out. Because of this ongoing situation, I’ve had to stay in a budget hotel near the sanctuary just so I can access heating and hot water while still being close enough to care for the dogs. Running a sanctuary is challenging at the best of times, and situations like this make it even harder. We just want the issue properly acknowledged and resolved so we can get back to focusing on what matters most , caring for the dogs who rely on us every single day. 🚨 URGENT APPEAL 🚨 Please, please, please… even £1 will make a difference. 🙏 We urgently need to install a CCTV system at our other sanctuary to help keep our dogs safe. There are reasons for this that we can’t discuss publicly right now, but protecting the animals in our care is our absolute priority. The full system will cost £4,000. We know that sounds like a lot, but the company helping us has been incredibly generous and is going above and beyond providing additional cameras, warning signs, and even a TV screen system so we can properly monitor the sanctuary. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to making this happen and ensuring our dogs are protected. 🐶 If you can spare £1, £2, or anything at all, it will truly help.

Help Us Make Our Second Sanctuary Safe 🙏 As many of you know, Dogs on the Streets supports dogs belonging to people who are homeless or in vulnerable situations. When their owners need help , whether that’s hospital treatment, housing issues, or simply a difficult period in life , we step in to provide safe foster care for their dogs until they can be reunited. Right now, our second sanctuary space is already full with dogs already who urgently needed somewhere safe. These dogs aren’t abandoned ,they are deeply loved ,but their owners are going through incredibly difficult circumstances. To keep these dogs safe, we need to put proper security and infrastructure in place, including CCTV and essential materials to ensure the sanctuary meets the standards we expect for the dogs in our care. If we’re honest, asking for money is never something we enjoy doing. But the reality is that these things are necessary to protect the dogs. We also don’t want to take funds away from our core donations, which are vital for:

🐾 Food and everyday care for the dogs So we are setting up a separate fundraiser specifically for the sanctuary setup and security. Support Sunday 🙏 While many of us are enjoying a warm home this Sunday, there are dogs out there whose lives look very different. These are not stray dogs.
They belong to people who are homeless or vulnerable people who often have very little, but still give everything they can to the one companion who never judges them. These dogs walk the streets beside their owners every day.
They sleep wherever their owners can find shelter.
They share whatever food is available. For many vulnerable people, their dog is their only family, their only comfort, and their reason to keep going. Our sanctuary helps support these dogs when their owners are struggling , through foster placements, food, and veterinary care when it’s needed most. Because sometimes people just need a little help to keep their best friend safe. This Support Sunday we’re asking for something simple. Today was a very humbling day for all of us at Dogs on the Streets. Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to @Marion1Garnett for inviting us back again this year to the Animal Fair in Ealing . Your support truly means so much to our small charity. I’d also like to apologise to anyone who listened to my talk today… yes, I did end up in tears. The reason is simple , I care deeply about this charity and the dogs & humans we help, and right now we are facing an extreme financial crisis. When you are passionate about something like this, your day doesn’t end at 5pm. It’s 24/7. It’s sleepless nights, constant worry, and many tears. Some days I feel like I’m failing the very dogs we are trying so hard to help . The thought that we might have to close keeps me awake at night. We are a very small charity run by volunteers, and currently we have 81 dogs in our care across two sanctuaries. Every penny we raise goes directly to the dogs, which means we simply don’t have the financial resources to employ staff to help with things like fundraising or grant applications. I am mentally and physically exhausted, and if I’m honest, I probably spend 70% of my day crying right now. But what keeps us going are the dogs and the incredible people who came to speak to me after the talk today. Your kindness and support meant more than I can ever explain. You brought the tears again, but this time they were tears of gratitude. Right now we need help more than ever. If anyone has ideas for fundraising, experience with grant applications, or time to volunteer and support our small team, please reach out to us. Your support could make the difference between us continuing our work… or having to close our doors.
