@TracketPacer A friend of mine at Xerox somehow got the PROM with MAC address 00:00:00:00:00:00. Nothing much worked.

@BosPublicRadio My 93 yo mother in law lives in Ashland. A neighbor shows up with a baby in a carrier and a shovel, to dig out her mailbox. Kudos to neighbors.

What’s the US’s “fourth” city. Boston, Hartford, and Portland are pretty clearly the top 3 but the 4th is more ambiguous. I feel like the main contenders are probably Worcester, New Haven, Hyannis, or maybe Burlington

What is the most expensive mistake you’ve ever made on a PCB design? Was it a swapped footprint, a backward capacitor, or a missed ground plane? Let’s hear your stories below (if you dare own up) 👇

@MakeAugusta It has serious ESD protection which is a pretty good idea if the button is at any distance from the circuit.

What am I missing here? Why is this better than using a capacitor to debounce a button? I'd be tempted to use a software debounce before I add $4 to BOM cost for a button debounce.

sorry but major peeve of mine is the concept of "order of operations" mattering beyond like 3rd grade; there is one way to control the order of your operations, and it's called parentheses, everything else is context-dependent and/or necessarily ambiguous
Justin Skycak@justinskycak

Applied to math, this approach produces calculus students who can't evaluate 5-3x6 without a calculator because they -- can't do mental arithmetic, -- never learned their multiplication tables, -- forgot the order of operations, -- and forgot how negative numbers work.
