Hi all, sorry for my absence. After months of steady progress, Mum got really sick unexpectedly and things have been very hard. No hospitalisation this time but that was only because we have an oxygen machine at home now and I could nurse her. The paramedics were out 3 times. It has been scary, sad, and absolutely exhausting. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. I just couldn't deal with all the horrors here. The very first story I saw today was about sexual abuse and I am crying already. Mum is improving but the infection is not yet cleared and all her progress has been undone. It is horribly unfairly on her, she had been doing so well, was excited for her rehab course and to be driving again, and a stupid error by the NHS caused this. Sorry again, and thank you from the bottom of my heart to every person speaking up for women's rights, LGB rights, child safety, and all of our freedom of speech, belief, and association. Damn girl! Yeah. It’s no other experience than living in the south. Arkansas is so beautiful. I love it! I’m from the dirty, dirty deep south. Louisiana. My Dad was the same way. He died when I was 15. He raised me like a boy. I worked on the cars with him, built chicken cages with him, and carried 2 50 lb feed sacks on my back just to make him proud every time he’d come back from the feed store. Right before he died, there was a ‘78 trans am for sale at our local fried chicken shack. When we’d pass it, he said, ‘girl, that’s gonna be your first car’ Since then, I’ve owned a ‘69 Camaro that was a beast…and a ‘70 Camaro rolling chassis. Sold them bc my kids needed college. That’s the way it goes. ❤️

Not the legal kind of drag racing......😅there were 4 straight stretches that were 1/4 miles in our county. We had to rotate the locations.....because the cops were aware we did it. My car was hot and all the boys were jelly.......so it was on 2 or 3 times a week. I had the priviledge of growing up on a farm next to 3 boys one was my age and was my mechanic.......I went 2 years undefeated. My dad got suspicious the first year he had to buy 3 sets of tires for my car.....so when I got summoned before him I told the truth. Secretly he liked it but I still got my ass chewed on then when I left his house I was getting in the car and he said, "If you gotta do it, drive the damn thing like you stole it and you buy the tires from now on."I ran back and hugged him them burned the rubber off when I left and I could see him grinning.

Bucket list: Have uncles that died during Dday. I want to pay respects to them…even though I do not like France. My ex husband was in Iraq post 9/11. There were so many Iraqis that died as allies to the U.S. They and their families were slaughtered. 😂 my first vehicle was a ‘78 cutlass. I used to have to prime the carburetor with gas to get it to fire up. One day, I poured too much gas, and it caught on fire. My neighbor had a long hose and put it out. We still got it to start…and I drove it down to the corner gas station to get a coffee and a pack of Virginia slims.

Exactly. I’ve heard too many accounts from women who have literally been held hostage by their husbands. Strong, beautiful women…with no resources and no out. The reason why DV laws came into existence…was because husbands were murdering their wives with no consequences. No thank you!

Bullshit. When I was looking for a counselor for my daughter…I had to be careful bc of the ‘grifters’. There were very few, at the time, that were honest in calling it a social contagion bc they had never seen anything like it. And those were the ones that I stuck with. My childhood friend, who is a nurse, told me that she was starting to give these ‘shots’ to kids…exponentially increasingly…and the parents were pushing it…and pediatricians didn’t care bc they were able to ‘bill’ it. It’s all bullshit…we will look back on this like we do with the opiate epidemic in the U.S.
