That would be direct discrimination then. There is a men's changing room and a mixed sex changing room i.e neutral. It is treating women less favourably. Providing single-sex spaces for only one sex while completely ignoring the privacy and dignity needs of the other is not proportionate. The EHRC recognises that women are significantly more likely to object to, or feel unsafe in, mixed-sex changing based on privacy, dignity, and trauma considerations.

The Supreme Court only stated if it is designated as a women's changing room only biological women can use it. They did not say every retail outlet has to provide one. Within the changing rooms are individual secure cubicles.

Have been a little more active on here this evening after a while with my foot off the gas. Feels fun. Got me reflecting a wee bit. As some of you will know, this account is a tiny, newish one following on from a couple of much more visible and followed incarnations before this. While they were never truly huge accounts, I had about 10k followers and regularly had posts retweeted, quote tweeted and engaged with. Often racking up 100s of thousands of views and shed loads of likes. Then, in November 2024 and into 2025 I was savagely turned off and although retained most followers, engagement, shares and views fell off a cliff to a pitiful handful. I tried to appeal. But it was impossible. @X admitted fucking me over but couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. Through frustration and anger, I finally closed the last account as I gave up the ongoing fight with @X and its censorship. I opened this wee shed of an account in January this year and was immediately throttled again. But I thought bollocks to them, I'll continue putting cheeky, sarcastic, satirical and critical warblings, doodlings and artfarts into the diminishing and algo-kettled echo chamber. I don't post much on here now, but I wanted to thank those who have engaged and reacted to tonight's posts particularly. Felt a bit like the old days. And while nowhere near the numbers I used to hit, It's genuinely heartwarming to have reactions and interactions again. May even be encouraged to do some more. Richardson – who has changed his name to John Nicholls – admitted downloading and distributing sex abuse images of boys. Judge Barbara Mensah told him: “They are vile, disgusting and cruel images. It amounts to torture. “The public revulsion and humiliation which you have received is part of your punishment.” Prosecutor Margia Mostafa told Luton crown court that the 49-year-old officer was arrested on May 16 last year by Bedfordshire police who raided the married officer’s home in March. An iPad and three laptops were examined. Officers found 99 Category A still and moving images – the most serious level. There were 208 at Category B and 218 at Category C, the least serious level. Search terms used by Nicholls including the words: “F…… Boys,” “Incest”, “Brazilian boys” and “Teen boys kissing.” In one image a baby was being raped and in another a 12 year was being orally raped. He had used the internet site Tumblr to distribute a Category B and a Category C image. When he was interviewed he did not answer police questions, but in a prepared statement he apologised and said he would seek professional help. Nicholls, who now lives in Doncaster, appeared for sentence having pleaded guilty to three charges of making (downloading) indecent photograph/pseudo photographs of a child and two of distributing indecent photographs/pseudo photographs of a child. He had been a beat bobby and the Fenland licensing officer, before being sacked by Cambridgeshire police on July 3. In 2011 he told a local community website in March that he wanted the town to be a dangerous place for criminals. He boasted on the ShapeYourPlace website: “I love locking them up, the more I can get off the streets the better the chances of me having a smiley photo.” Judge Mensah sentenced him to 15 months in jail suspended for two years. The iPad and Laptops were forfeited and he has 28 days to pay £300 costs. In addition, he must register as a sex offender and abide by the terms of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years.

POLICE KILLED AN INNOCENT MAN, LIED ABOUT IT, AND ARRESTED THE WOMAN WHO TOLD YOU In July 2005, Jean Charles de Menezes, an innocent man, was shot dead at Stockwell tube station by Metropolitan Police firearms officers who mistook him for a terrorist. Police initially claimed he was wearing bulky clothing, had vaulted the ticket barriers, and run from officers. None of it was true. But police did not correct the misinformation. They waited until someone forced their hand. That someone was Lana Vandenberghe. A secretary. Not a senior official, not a KC, not a politician. A secretary who sat at her desk at the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and watched the official story fall apart in front of her. As files passed across her desk, she began to feel that the facts of the case were being misrepresented, or not presented at all, to the public. So she did something about it. Over several weeks, Lana stayed late at the office and used her camera to photograph the evidence, which she then handed to a news producer. She leaked the documents to ITN, which contradicted the official narrative being promoted by the Metropolitan Police. The story broke. The cover was blown. And the state's response? Dawn raids. Vandenberghe was arrested by Leicester Constabulary Serious Crime Unit acting on behalf of the IPCC. Two more dawn raids followed weeks later, including the arrest of the ITN journalist who ran the story and his pregnant girlfriend. Vandenberghe said she was "scared to death" and that it never crossed her mind she would be treated as a criminal for telling the truth. "Unlike the police," she said, "I hadn't killed an innocent person." She lost her job. She lost her home. She was treated for depression. The threat police reportedly considered charging her with? Between May 27, 2025 and June 18, 2025 at his home in Kilmarnock’s Kilmaurs Road, Gallacher sent “a series of sexual written messages” to ‘Molly.’ The 40-year-old creep asked ‘Molly’ to send him indecent images of herself, asked her about her sexual experiences, commented on her attractiveness and discussed engaging in sexual acts together. And on June 19, 2025, at Ferguslie Park Avenue in Paisley, the beast attempted to meet ‘Molly’ with the intention of engaging in “unlawful sexual activity.” Creepy Gallacher told ‘Molly’ not to go to school one day and instead meet him and they could go a drive “somewhere quiet.” The beast told Molly he had a “big back seat” in his red Audi S3 and that he wanted her to perform oral sex on him and that they would then have sex. Gallacher’s defence agent asked for background reports to be prepared. Sheriff Bruce Erroch KC adjourned sentencing for the preparation of a justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment. Gallacher was placed on the sex offender register and will return to court for sentencing next month.
