After an exhausting day, one negative comment can seem like a final straw sending one down a spiral. Such was yesterday when I sat reviewing one elderly lady whose eye I had operated on the previous day. On arrival, she was not able to read any letter now there she was, sitting in front of me reading up to the 6/18 line and saying nothing had changed. In fact, she went outside and made sure we heard what she was telling the other patients out (we operated on 10 of them). “They have basically done nothing”, she said. Honestly, that hurt😭😭 On the other hand, one gentleman whose vision had barely improved because we had a difficult surgery with complications was so grateful. On such days, I always say: “Jesus, what would I do without you?”

Yesterday, we successfully completed the outreach in Abim Hospital. A total of 83 people were operated on and had their sight restored. As I travelled with my amazing team today, each one had a particular patient whose story impacted their lives the most. To all of us, eye surgery is not just about operating. It’s about connecting with the patients and listening to their stories and watching in awe the profound difference that surgery made in their lives. So, I listened to my clinician narrate about the 30-year- old lady who was blind in both eyes, yet had 3 children to take care of. He had visited her village and relentlessly persuaded her mother to allow her come for the surgery. Then my nurse couldn’t forget about the 89 years old man who kept calling me sweet names, and his 77 years old wife. She wondered how they had been managing with blindness. Then, there was, of course the 15 years old boy, born with cataract who had to wait for a whole 15 years to see the light of the world. These, plus many other stories is what makes me continue doing the things that I do.

@elonmusk @grok Grok says he can create files and immediately provide links to download those files but he actually can't. He either replies with a link that gives a 404 or no link at all. If he cannot create files it is okay to say he cannot. I am talking about pdf files or word files.

Please provide examples where @Grok needs to improve in replies. Showing how another AI does it better would be helpful. These examples should be of Grok going wrong today, as we fixed many bugs from earlier in the week.
