@kwilliart @ChocoLuau @TheRealQuenny more than bioshock-ism it has some system shock-ism, bioshock is the successor to system shock, and system shock had some really similar ideas to the first marathon game.. and it's interesting how both games came out in the same year

@ChocoLuau @TheRealQuenny It’s impressive for 1994 considering there aren’t any real cutscenes and it happens all through text terminals and the manual. It’s quite excellent and has some Bioshock-ism about 13 years before that game released.

Man this game rips. I have my art direction gripes with it, but how on earth did Sony squander Bluepoint’s potential so badly. 6 years on and this game looks absolutely insane. Stands up to any game released today. And likely for years to come.

Decided to actually start a new character in demons souls remake since the other one was another melee user and I want to actually finish the game with a magic character for once. And you can legit become a god with magic in DeS (got pretty far on OG DeS with magic)

@austinmonster @epppyyy This is all true but I don’t believe based on tons of reading and arguments that homosexuality is a sin. Unclobber by Colby Martin is a great resource into this, but again, it requires a strong foundation of truth. Christ sympathized with our weaknesses, homosexuality wasn’t one.

@austinmonster @epppyyy But it did require a lot of change. The convictions of heart: queer people deserve to be loved and live as Christ loved us, vs the Biblical truths that I have grown up believing… It required a lot of wrestling to find answers that were consistent, but also in truth.
