This is probably the most important piece of the Goedert contract cap math -- he can be processed as a June 1 waiver candidate next year.

@Joe_Morrison1 There's about $17.5M of dead cap sitting in 2027 right now (as much as $18.2M if the incentives vest). But the contract contains language that will allow the Eagles to process that void as a Post 6/1 move this time around. So it will be a much cleaner process.

The Eagles are addressing the need for depth and competition. RB Dameon Pierce is a quality runner and KOR. He's also a former Gator so you know Howie liked that. Stone Smartt helps at TE. Hes got 7 career starts and 38 catches.

@DVNJr @smartfootball The line that always sticks out to me is when Bettany calls Kevin Spacey. Spacey says "Email it to me". Bettany says "I don't think that would be a good idea." His delivery conveyed the gravity of the situation without being overly dramatic. Love that.
