My advice to you today, is that if you're getting a TV box, please don't cheapen out.
No matter what, do not go for a generic no name brand. The experience is bad.
You can still see really decent budget TV box in the market.

If you have an old TV, you should do this. In fact, if you have a smart TV, you should still get a Android TV or Google TV based box. You're most likely using VidaaOS(Hisense, the worst), webOS (LG manageable) and they aren't as smooth as using a TV box with proper TV OS.

Because of the insecurity in the country, my parents have finally convinced me not to go for NYSC camp. I just hope I'll be reposted next time I apply because I don't think I can travel to Cross River all because of ₦77k 😭.

Imagine what the little children in the bush would also be going through. When or if they make out those little ones can't be okay. I can't comperend how a 2-4 year old is expect to survive and be sane in that kind of situation. It can never be well with everyone supporting this goverment. Another thing most people miss:
When you use a site like Speedtest by Ookla, many ISPs host their own Speedtest servers.
So you may actually be testing against your own ISP’s local server, which will naturally show faster results.
With Netflix’s speed test, it connects to Netflix servers, so it gives a more realistic idea of your streaming/download experience.

ISPs were throttling speeds when streaming from Netflix and when the user would run a speedtest via one of the usual sites they would detect that and stop it from throttling
netflix's test caught this and proved it
