The saddest day in ITV’s history when the greatest ITV company Thames Television was replaced by Carlton, the worst company ever in the history of ITV.

It’s 35 years since the great Saint & Greavsie gave us their Christmas special, and it was one of their all-time classic episodes. With Jimmy Greaves suffering from flu, they brought the Spitting Image Greavsie puppet into the studio, with Peter Brackley doing the Greavsie voice. With loads of laughs and gags, it was an all-time classic. RIP Lads.
