Skvělé vysvětlení, proč na Dvoreckém mostě nejsou auta Ano, myšlenka nechtít na mostě auta je z let 2005-2010, kdy si městské části nechly zpracovat dopravní modely, co by se stalo, kdyby auta na mostě byla. Základní výstup byl, že by v Jeremenkově ulici přibylo cca 9-10 000 aut denně a byla by to auta, co dnes jezdí po Městském okruhu. Jelikož současné intenzity dopravy jsou v Jeremenkově směrerm dolů za den kolem 7 000 a nahoru kolem 6 000 vozidel a přesto jsou okolní křižovatky na Pankráci nebo na nábřeží na hranici svých kapacit, tak takové zjištění pochopitelně vyděsilo nejen městskou část, ale zejména místní obyvatele. Tedy se zjistilo, že komunikační síť okolo Dvoreckého mostu takový nárůst automobilové dopravy až o 75 % nemůže zvládnout bez toho, aby přestala zcela plnit svou funkci pro všechny druhy dopravy. Po takovém zjištění jsou dvě volby, buď tu komunikační síť takovým intenzitám přizpůsobit, nebo na mostě auta vyloučit. Podotýkám, že přizpůsobení těmto intenzitám by i na Podolském nábřeží vyžadovalo mimoúrovňové křižovatky, Jeremekova by se musela vykácet a udělat z ní 2+2 magistrála. Muselo by se zásadně omezit parkování na celém Pankráci, na řadě křižovatek vyloučit levá odbočení a vymazat řadu přechodů pro chodce, aby to ty křižovatky zvládaly. V zásadě tedy postup cestou, která kdysi uvažovala o dálnici skrz Pařížskou ulici a vybourání půlky centra města. Před 20 lety si radnice P4 a P5 tuto volbu nevybraly, auta na mostě podporovala vždy jen Praha 2, která doufala, že by kus toho masakru z Ječné a Žitné mohla delegovat obyvatelům Jeremenkovy. Čemuž se ale podivovat též nelze. Jinak mimochodem, ve špičce projede od pondělí přes Dvorecký most 110 spojů MHD za hodinu a i tenhle počet bude pro most i křižovatky výzva. A ještě jeden dovětek. Most s auty by musel být i ve střední části minimálně o 7 metrů širší, na svých koncích kvůli řadicím pruhům by musel být širší minimálně o 14 metrů, v žádném případě by pak nemohl vypadat, jak vypadá, musela by to být pravděpodobně zavěšená konstrukce, stavěl by se déle a stál by pochopitelně výrazně více. A pokud by se neupravilo to okolí, veškerou dopravu by pak okolo zpomalil, autobusová by v zásadě přestala mít funkčně smysl. Zdroj: Martin Šubrt
