@confidencenac Im not a lefty, in fact, im as right wing as they come, I dont begrudge granny her pension, what i begrudge is the fact that I as a worker, have to pay for it on top of all the other BS that the state wants, and I wont get a state pension (realistically) when in older.

When did this country, especially on the left, become so ignorant and cruel that it begrudges a Granny a yearly pension amount of £12.5k? Take a hike!

@confidencenac You don’t understand what the triple lock or means testing is. That, or you’re deliberately misrepresenting people’s opinions for nefarious reasons. The triple lock is mathematically and by definition, unsustainable. This is a fact, it’s not an argument.

@mikejwhelan @bright_liz I live in the UK and when anybody gets to this stage they can enter a hospice where they stay and are looked after by wonderfully caring people and you can stay with them. Do you have that option in America?

In all my years of following politics, I've never heard anyone so passionate, articulate and full of common sense as I have today from Nigel. He WILL be the best Prime Minister of my lifetime and Robert Jenrick is a most welcome addition.

In 2022 Keir Starmer promised WASPI women compensation. In 2024 the Ombudsman said the women were due compensation. After Starmer was elected, he said he couldn't afford to compensate WASPI women. But remember. It was all fully costed. 🙄

I'm going to continue listening to @TalkTV because I like the presenters @JuliaHB1 @TVKev @petercardwell @ThatAlexWoman and @mrmarkdolan . They were put in a dreadful position. I don't like the management decision to sack @Iromg but I accept it's happened now. I shall watch Mike on YouTube when his new show is on there but I'll listen to Talk too. I don't want Talk to fold because it'll mean job losses - not just the presenters, but people behind the scenes too. And Mike Graham wouldn't want that. Do your worst but that's my opinion.
