@DynamicWebPaige I was oncall for spell correction back in 2010. It was also basically indestructible, and I think the only time I ever got paged for it was when some of the larger models (Bulgarian iirc) would take too long to load on restart because GFS stole iops on the server the task was on.

@mluebbe @rakyll I agree with both of you. My point comes from too many people were allowed to join, launch a proud under that banner with no strings attached, no beta label, and then left quickly leaving a trail of tech debt and/or inevitable brand eroding shutdowns. The fix isn't going full IBM

Here's the answer why some people go in, launch stuff, get a promo then leave behind ppl holding the bag a couple years later. TBC, not a dig on Jaana. That's not her. It's just that the approach she's praising here isn't all advantages.
