I made a reference to Michael J. Fox and Family Ties when discussing with my colleagues politicians who look like they’ve been wearing suit since childhood. No one at the table had the vaguest notion of what I was talking about and I’m pretty sure I need to retire now.

Today has been the hardest day of my life. I lost my dad in a farming accident. He died doing what he loved most: farming. He was the hardest working person that I know. He cared so much about the land, for the cattle, and being a good neighbour. Love you forever dad. ❤️

@JohnPasalis Really insightful post. Toronto also has a problem that most new two bedroom condos have the 2nd bedroom internal with no natural light. Who wants to live like that? No one.

Why does Toronto almost exclusively build micro condos owned by investors? And why have we decided that families don’t belong in our downtown core? I’ve heard every excuse for Toronto’s obsession with tiny condos. Some say it’s illegal to build family-sized units.🧵
