@RossUglem It was discussed in packers twitter media that nixon would never play under his contract. If packers don't extend him I could see them trading him now for value and sign rasul or someone else

My $0.02 on the Rasul discussion: I only see it if they really are miffed at Nixon or Valentine about the end of lasg season. They aren’t releasing Cisse, St. Juste, Domani, or Bullard. If you don’t release 25 or 37 youre signing a sixth corner who for sure won’t play teams?

Edge Nyjalik Kelly's three-year contract includes $262,500 in guaranteed money. That's the most guaranteed money the Packers gave to any of their undrafted free agents.

@TJLang70 It seems to add up. Plus your taking boating trips with a super pregnant gf seems pretty obvious. I dont know many people that have intimate boating trips with pregnant women

Can we just say the quiet part out loud and say Mike Vrabel has a kid with Russini? -Affair with her around the time she got pregnant. -Hanging out solo when she’s 8 months pregnant. -Uhhhh….. she named the kid Michael. I’m not great at math.. but cmon.

@wendellfp Its good to know we all aren't crazy when we complain about it every Sunday. You would think with all the analytics in football they would pick up on it. Us couch watchers shouldnt know what's coming lol

@wendellfp I think the key is all of those players had replacements ready or would be drafted. Morgan for walker, golden/savion for wicks/doubs, etc. And you could argue the replacements on paper could/should be better.

I think we have different definitions of what a key player is. Rasheed Walker, Malik Willis (for GB), Quay Walker, Enagbare, Wooden, Wicks weren't key players. Doubs may have been, but he's replaceable.
Go pack go.@Stevie_C1977

@Brandon_Sneide @wendellfp There is a tipping point in terms of the amount of key players you can lose and still be realistic contenders. Packers went way past that last season.

For the first time in his career as the starter Jordan Love will have a veteran with him in the QB room. Love that for him (and any QB tbh)

@MarkOldacres If he performs and stays healthy that's an easy win contract considering how much others with similar potential signed for this off-season. Plus cap continues to rise. Worst case scenario we would cut after year 2 or 3 and have minimal dead cap

If you factor in 2026 to Jayden Reed’s contract extension and look at it as a 4-year deal, depending if/when they move on, it is either: 1-year $21.8m deal 2-year $27.7m 3-year $40.3m 4-year $52.5m

@Wisconsin_fam Even if he doesnt perform this year fully. He would likely still have small trade value anyway. We have the space in 27 to roll the dice

I have no issue with the Packers picking up Lukas Van Ness’s fifth-year option. It works for both sides. Let it play out and see where it goes. It’s not some massive, long-term contract they’ll be stuck with for years. No harm, no foul.

@wendellfp Honestly pretty good list. You can always move players up and down based on opinion but its solid.

@MarkOldacres Yea they invested high picks in Morgan/belton, high money in banks/tom. Center was only possible change but rhyan taking that over. Betting on development and health for better oline play. 27 will be different if oline craps bed this year. Let's see how it goes

The only problem with the Packers offense last year was the O-line being hurt and not playing up to expectations. The starting 5 for 2026 was set the moment 2025 ended, and the only question on offense is if the O-line gets back on track. No one expected “additions” on offense.
Gregg Rosenthal@greggrosenthal

not counting UDFAs, Brian Gutekunst has added two offensive players to the Packers roster this offseason: Skyy Moore and fifth-round guard Jager Burton

@Angrymike23 @RossUglem Pretty sure nixon if on the team is cb1 still. Valentine/st juste will fight for cb2 in base defense. Cisse is probably cb3/4 out the gate. At least until he is ready. I doubt pending injury hes on the field as a starter

The #Lions have declined LB Jack Campbell's $21.9M 5th-year option for 2027 (which would have made him the highest average paid off-ball LB). The 25-year-old projects toward a 4-year, $85M extension in our system - which would make him the highest average paid off-ball LB.

@packers_access Classic 2 year deal, then revisit. I like the high per game bonus as a small handcuff to help of he misses time. Should do that on more contracts

@wendellfp Very team friendly contract for a young star. Reed seems happy taking early pay day vs playing on final year and rolling the dice at a bigger pay day

How much did the Packers actually improve? This much:

@AndyHermanNFL How much did we truly improve this offseason? Yes we addressed our needs this past weekend, but with no 1st round pick, some development projects and some Day 3 guys filling needs, how much better are we really? But to your point, we've been good-not-great the last several years

@RossUglem When your star players go down, its where depth comes in. But no one was replacing Micah. That pass rush hid our defensive issues all season. Losing wyatt with him hurt even more.
