WHAT'S THE HOLD UP? Carney said his Govt would "build at speeds not seen in a generation." One year later: No shovels in the ground. NOT A SINGLE PROJECT APPROVED. Just a new USELESS & COSTLY bureaucratic office that has done NOTHING. Carney's record: ALL talk. ZERO results.

@ancientmind Even all businesses that depends on USA market knows that this elbows up nonsense cannot be sustained. They are feeling the heat already. The want certainty. Even Mark Carney knows that playing tough won't cut but he has to dance to the tune of the elbows up crowd. Timewilltell

Prime Minister Mark Carney says removing Maduro is welcome news, adds that Canada's oil sector will still be competitive when Venezuelan oil comes online. He will be blasted for saying removing Maduro is welcome. What do you think?

The anti Trump and anti American propaganda (because that’s by definition what it is) and rhetoric happening in Canada by the government—to win fear votes—and by the media—to keep getting clicks and paycheques from that same government and fear voters has gone too far. This is delusional, disingenuous, and unbelievably unproductive. God bless you, but seriously (and as respectfully as possible), grow up. Read the news… not CNN, not globe and mail, not CBC… read REAL news. Various sources, conflicting bias. Use critical thinking, use your discernment. Question why the news makes you feel afraid or angry, instead of aware, enlightened, empowered, educated, and informed. Emotional language should never replace structural analysis. Please stop letting people who make millions by selling you a narrative—paid for with your own tax dollars—think for you.

Agree or disagree, yesterday both Pierre Poilievre and Don Davies took firm stances on Venezuela and Maduro. In a democracy, politicians should provide clear, responsible positions for voters to choose between. That's what Poilievre and Davies did. In contrast, Carney and Anand tried to both-sides the issue, sending out statements that failed to take a clear position. It was embarrassing. Voters are left wondering: what does Carney really think? Or does he have genuine views on anything other than his and the Liberal Party's success? Shouldn't we expect more from the prime minister of Canada? #cdnpoli

Today, I appointed Chrystia Freeland @cafreeland as an Advisor on Economic Development. Chrystia is highly skilled in these matters and has extensive experience in attracting investment and implementing economic transformations. Right now, Ukraine needs to strengthen its internal resilience – both for the sake of Ukraine’s recovery if diplomacy delivers results as swiftly as possible, and to reinforce our defense if, because of delays by our partners, it takes longer to bring this war to an end. I am grateful to everyone who is ready to support our state and our engagement with partners. Glory to Ukraine!
