Everytime we speak of his greatness we quote Mayura, Bhakta Prahalada, Babruvahana, etc. For me, his greatness lies in these movies where he is just another common man. The second half of Haalu Jenu where his emotions go through a roller coaster ride with every scene from despair to anger to comedic to sheer grief is just pure masterclass. That climax scene where he has to sing to his dying wife just shatters you. Hosabelaku Ravi is a man beautifully written by a woman. It's a shame that we dont see this often these days. Chalisuva Modagalu is my all time favorite movie. By a huge margin. From lover boy Mohan to ideal husband Mohan to morally right advocate Mohan, he is just beyond perfect. I cant even begin to understand what would it be like to live in this golden age where multiple Annavru movies are running simultaneously in the theatres!

Lalbagh Republic Day flower show saw footfall of 8.11L visitors (2L students) themed of Kannada Writer Poorna Chandra Tejaswi while last year data shows around 4.5L visitors. 2.75cr revenue generated through tickets , stalls and stores. A book stall was put up with all books of Poorna Chandra Tejaswi which saw sale of 13,000 books including 3800 copies of Carvalho alone. Flowers from this flower show will be recycled according to Horticulture dept. The flowers will be put into the pits created in Lalbagh & it will take six to seven months for these flowers and other foliage to be converted into compost with addition of earth worm and water timely.
