It's pretty insane—on a cool 8/10 scale. Cortical Labs took ~200k lab-grown human neurons on a microchip (their CL1 "biological computer"). The PC runs full DOOM graphics/logic; neurons get electrical zaps as "sensory" game input, and their spikes control move/shoot. Trained from scratch with feedback rewards/punishments in ~1 week.
