@Brunte84 Foreign wasn't taught well in your school then. Why is it always the English schools that fail to deliver bilingualism.

Mainly because I don’t believe that the community council level of government should be partisan, but also because I’m not a Plaid member and I’m unhappy with some of their decisions locally. At the time I nominated myself, I wasn’t aware whether or not Plaid would stand but that had no effect on my decision. At this level of government, the parties shouldn’t matter. The party who holds a given seat at this level has zero bearing on national, or even county-level politics, and this election shouldn’t be seen as reflecting my views on national-level politics.

“Welsh is a political language” and a “political tool”, says Plaid Cymru. They have finally said the quiet part out loud. The increase in the use of the language by Welsh political, cultural and sporting elites has intensely ramped up over the past decade, now everyone can see why. It’s part of their long term strategy to tear Wales away from our British family and create a big state, socialist, multicultural nation that acts as a pawn for the globalist elites.

New⬇️ 28% of MSs are landlords. 7x higher rate than in Welsh adult population. Few Senedd members know what it’s like to be at the bottom of the ladder today or at the mercy of a bad landlord. This isn't why Welsh housing is a mess. But it's not healthy either. (Link below)

BBC Wales, or Plaid Cymru TV as they should really be called, has decided to publish a hit job on Nigel Farage today. Anti-Reform stories are becoming more frequent as we approach the Senedd election, while Plaid get an easy ride. Don't forget: BBC Wales Director, Rhuanedd Richards, is the former Chief Executive of Plaid Cymru. The BBC decided to publish their story about Nigel Farage's cameos, which were clearly and obviously a joke, but have refused to report on the fact that Plaid's Leader literally said “there's no such thing as illegal immigration” on a BBC programme! I was invited today to answer the BBC's questions on the Module 3 COVID report specifically - that was their request. But did they actually want to talk about future pandemic preparedness or the Welsh Government's role in what was the highest death rate in the UK? No! They wanted to talk about cameos. Nigel Farage is a staunch supporter of the Welsh language, as we all are in Reform. And in response to today's appalling Welsh NHS statistics, what did the BBC use as their headline? “Hospital waiting lists in Wales see record drop” >As diagnostic waiting list hit a two-year high. >As cancer performance worsens. >And the longest waits for treatment of 2+ years (which were virtually eliminated in England years ago) drop by a mere 0.8%. What a joke! BBC Wales has lost credibility with the Welsh public.

Every time I ask if Wales is getting a fair deal, UK government ministers keep telling me to ‘be grateful’ or ‘show more gratitude’. Meanwhile I see our economy shrinking, people leaving my constituency for work elsewhere and inequality between England and Wales growing.

@jasonprgressive @PositivFuturist If it costs £1000 to write off a car. But costs £200 to fix it, with £1000 of processes to execute to fix it. Which is the cheaper option? You've not considered the entire cost, just the repair cost.

@PositivFuturist No I’m literally saying car insurance will go with the cheapest option if it’s repair. I think it’s a bad analogy.

This is a valid argument for assisted dying. But you know how nowadays you lightly bump your car and your insurer immediately declares it a write off because they can't be bothered to even investigate a repair? Yeah

My grandad had bowel + prostate cancer - he was so unwell, in agonising pain every day, being fed medication to knock him out 24/7. He begged us to kill him, every day said he couldn’t wait to die. I know he would have loved to have the option to go peacefully on his terms 😅

Great morning on the campaign trail in Holyhead with newly elected Cllr Celfyn Furlong. One thing is absolutely clear…..people want change! And the only way you get change… is by voting for it. Vote @RUKWales on May 7th Vote Reform. Get Reform. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@WillHayCardiff Just read the story. It seems someone paid Farage to read out a message they had written. This is getting real childish. I thought devolution had created a more confident Wales? Reform should be criticised for their policies but this sort of stuff.

Nigel Farage has called Welsh people “Foreign speakers” in a Cameo video. I hate to break it to you Mr Farage, but if you read a history book you would realise English is more foreign in the UK than Welsh. He said: “Gutted I couldn’t attend the wedding. I wanted to come, but I heard that half the guests were Welsh, and I don’t know. Who knows what would have happened with all those foreign speakers there. I don’t know.” This is at a time that his party are trying to convince people in Wales that they should elect them to the Welsh Parliament. Big credit to the Guardian for breaking this story: theguardian.com/uk-news/ng-int…

@CrisCardotyn Grow up, its a laugh, I'm Welsh and I think the language should be abolished. It would save my council a fortune by not having to put every letter in English and Welsh. another thought if you like speaking Welsh that's fine but stop foisting it on non Welsh speakers.

Wales has the highest unemployment of any UK nation. One of the worst economic inactivity rates too. Decades of failure in Cardiff Bay have left Wales poorer and ignored. Reform UK will put jobs, growth and livelihoods first.

Perhaps telling the whole story is called for here. A pregnancy termination outside of the permitted medical regulation and supervision beyond 24 weeks is still illegal. The amendment that has been passed changes nothing at all about the existing law, which has been in place since 1967 law. The amendment changes the status for the pregnant woman involved from criminal to civil offender. Thus the woman concerned will not be arrested, charged and prosecuted and will not receive a criminal record. Instead, treated as a civil offender, the circumstances will be investigated and an appropriate civil remedy will be applied, which is likely to include a period of support for mental health. Anybody else who may have been involved in procuring that termination remains liable to criminal charges.
