It’s crazy to think that the United States never constructed or even renovated any stadium before the World Cup started.

BBC just claimed this is Norway’s first World Cup finals goal since Rekdal scored against Brazil in 1998. This is of course incorrect, their last World Cup goal was Guro Reiten against Japan in 2023.

When will Americans learn that British people dont care about capacity and would take the ground on the left over the one on the right every day of the week and twice on Sundays?

It's crazy that Lumen Field isn't even the nicest stadium in Seattle. We really should have done world cup games at college stadiums.
