@Brandon_Sneide Bruh I disagree with this HARD. I don’t know why so many people who SAY they were fans prior to Giannis are acting as if those were such fun times. The Bucks stunk. They were the Brewers of the 90’s. The only national narrative was The Bucks should move out of Milwaukee.

This was a team that was desperate. The year prior we were getting swept by Lebron's Heat, with most of the crowd wearing Heat jerseys chanting "MVP" for Lebron. In Milwaukee. During the playoffs. Whoever wants to go back to that is delusional.

Too many folks seem to forget what the Bucks were before Giannis. I loved those teams too, but frankly, I don’t want to go back to the perennial lottery table with the Wizards and Kings. Giannis took us out of there and brought us to the mountaintop.

The Bucks end their run of nine straight winning seasons, and will almost certainly miss the playoffs. But hey, the Bucks made the playoffs more times in the last nine years (9) than they did all of the 90s and 00s combined (8).

It was because he was a tactically inept and continued to play favorites and bring in guys past it, playing out of position.
He also leaned heavily on quite a few MLS players.
