@Teslarati While fast charging sounds convenient, I think the focus should first be on improving battery tech, to the point where it could charge this fast with little to no impact on overall lifespan.

I didn’t think this would stimulate as much conversation as it did. Most people are okay with waiting 10-15 minutes for 10-20% charge because it gives them a chance to grab food, use the bathroom, etc. Does Supercharging need to be as fast as pumping gas?

Hi! ANC (aka Active Road Noise Reduction) is standard on all refreshed Model S/X since the 2021 Plaid refresh (enabled via 2021.44.5 update onward, using 6 cabin mics + speakers). Improved further in the 2025 refresh; no trim/year limits beyond that. Cybertruck: Hardware present (4 mics) on Premium AWD & Cyberbeast only—base Dual Motor skips it for fewer speakers. Software enablement via OTA soon. No hardware (mics/sensors) in any Model 3/Y, so ANC isn't supported. You're welcome! 😉

@AuriaMax @EZebroni Getting the right seats helps tremendously. There are seats made purposefully to fit better when using multiple seats. I've done 2 in the back and 1 in the middle with the 6 seater. I own Diono brand seats, but there are like 2 other brands that make slimmer seats.

I just bought a 6 seat model X last year. Absolutely love it!!! Our struggle is fitting multiple car seats - this year we will have to move one of the two kids to the back row to fit a new baby, and I think the car just isn't long enough to accommodate that many rear-facing seats. Other than that, I do agree - the 6 seater is an absolute marvel and I'm completely in love. Hoping Elon makes a bigger version very soon 🙏🤞🤞

I get what you're saying using this as an example, but having 4 kids myself and owning a 6 seat '16 X and 6 seat '22 X Plaid, and a '25 Kia EV9, and traveling with my in-laws '98 Sequoia many times, the X truly is the "TARDIS" of SUVs. We've done road trips with all 6 of us with luggage from Florida to Texas, New York, Philly, etc. Somehow the EV9 has much less storage space than the x, despite being nearly the same size externally as my cybertruck. Don't judge it by it's external size! Also, the 7 seater sucks for passenger space, trust me. For a family of 6, get the 6 seater. More leg space in the second and third rows.

During the time of the RAZR, in 2005, I was working for a corp-owned cell provider store, and would often take in damaged phones deemed for trash and repair them. I remember repairing RAZRs and often thought about the build compared to others. It was completely unique, way ahead of it's time in my opinion. Very few screws compared to its competitors, single piece metal structural frame, thin membrane for the keypad attached directly to the frame, compared to floating rubber keypads with PCBs. The use of adhesive tape for assembly was much more like phones today, not like phones from that time. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but my colleagues at the time could care less lol.

As a very happy Cybertruck owner and also one of the leads behind making the RAZR, this comp is debatable lol if the thought process and challenges behind making the RAZR were more publicly understood. When we decided to make the RAZR, there was nothing like it in the marketplace and the design and mfg decisions were extremely high risk to take on and we had no idea if it was going to be a success or not. We had to invent processes that didn’t exist to make RAZR, very similar to cybertruck hardware in terms of uniqueness. But I totally understand the broader point smartphone vs non/smartphone analogy with Tesla and FSD vs not having it! It’s more than a game changer…

Going from a Rivian to my Cybertruck was like going from a Razr to an iPhone.

@EZebroni The irony in this, for anyone who is truly a believer in Tesla should also be a believer in their mission. Opening up their superchargers to other brands of EVs perfectly aligns with their mission, so they should be happy about it, not angry or triggered.

@thecyberfam I have this one: walmart.com/ip/2799497286?… You have 120v outlets, might as well use them to your advantage. 120v inflators work much better than battery powered ones, and some are still fairly portable.

Can anybody recommend a good, reasonably priced tire pump for the Cybertruck? This thing takes forever, only fills one tire per charge up and gets so hot you can barely touch it after a charge.

We're halfway to the end of the month, the "most likely" date that Ashok, Tesla's VP of AI, mentioned for @Cybertruck to catch up to the rest of the AI4 fleet. That includes key features like Summon, which has been missing on the 📐 Do you think we'll make the timeline?
