@wait_andsee Yeah I don't think we can comprehend their thoughts, intentions, goals, etc. But that's an important indicator: if we look at things and find that they are incomprehensible to our minds then there's a good chance that these things didn't originate from human minds.

@sightseervideo @history_rev It appears to have just tumbled down a level. That upper one in your pic does looks very similar so it's likely they are related. They all look like andesite rather than granite. I agree that they're probably fountain parts, especially that one with the groove.

@plastolithic @history_rev Good catch. Is that color picture of the stone somewhere else on the site? The shape looks similar to this rock further up the hill today. These looked really out of place imho and the bottom one looks like itโ€™s part of a fountain tipped on end.

@AHC_Channel @scotthoward @history_rev They seem to form trails, and ALL of them have indications of being in the process of being worked (and therefore unfinished). So I'm 100% sure this is construction rather than destruction. Plus we have the trail of partially worked "tired stones" in transit from the quarries.

@megaminutiae @nascar_oz @umutcangun 100%. That's why I posted that item. To me it looks like cave art, rather than something from a civ with precise sub-mm engineering skills. Another questionable aspect is: where did they get their vast trove of gold? I've never seen any Inca gold mines or mining equipment.

And most of the gold ornamentation that survives was not nearly as precise or finely made as would be expected of a civilization with such attention to detail in itโ€™s stonework. There are clear asymmetries and hammering marks/dents in the gold masks and ceremonial objects (and not just from wear and tear). Itโ€™s obviously a smaller sample size compared to what originally existed but the tales of the walls being โ€œcovered in goldโ€ hints more of reclaiming than full authorship.

@AHC_Channel @AgresivoPasivo @Dan__Stevens @nobulart @history_rev Randall Carlson has pointed out what the movement of massive volumes of water actually do to mountains. A big pile of bricks on top of a low plateau is going to receive a lot more than some exterior damage. Plus, as Dan pointed out, we have many other sites somehow unaffected.

@AgresivoPasivo @AHC_Channel @Dan__Stevens @nobulart @history_rev Oh you mean me? Yes, I am saying that the argument is not worth having when the evidence for it is so weak, speculative and requires >80 million cubic km of water to magically appear out of nowhere and gently wash over continents. Don't waste my time with it.

@AHC_Channel @Dan__Stevens @nobulart @plastolithic @history_rev Instead of addressing the actual evidence presented, he attacks the character/mental competence of the person making the argument โ€” implying they are delusional or "disconnected from reality," just like the holders of another fringe view... @Dan__Stevens @nobulart @AHC_Channel @history_rev It's not even worth arguing about. Same kind of disconnect from reality that I hear from people saying that tsunamis rolled across the Andes and knocked Ollantaytambo's blocks down... without scouring away all the soil, rounding off all the mountains, or obliterating other sites.

@nobulart @AHC_Channel @plastolithic @history_rev There is no evidence of the same โ€œflowโ€ even on the pyramids next to this one. Furthermore, if the area was flooded (as you believe), why did it not wash the surrounding temples away?
