Alle Ökonom:innen: Wer einen CO2-Preis einführt, sollte den Menschen die Einnahmen als Klimageld zurückzahlen. Sonst wird es schwierig mit Akzeptanz und Sozialverträglichkeit. Die Bundesregierung:

This thread only scratches the surface. Climate change isn’t the main issue that affects elections. But this thread shows how the green transition still can affect voting. It's mostly a story of backlash, but that may change with the green industrial policy pivot.

10/11 Wrap-up I: Scrapping subsidies often only have a short-term economic stimulus effect, which is later on compensated by lower sales. Environmental benefits may well be negative. If they are positive, they are small.

@gri_mm @edenhofer_jacob @infornomics @meilaoban @BWEeV Wichtig für dieses Thema: Aktuell zirkuliert ein Referentenentwurf für ein Artikelgesetz zur Änderung des Energiewirtschaftsrechts. Eine geplänte Änderung darin betrifft §22b EEG. Damit sollen die finanziellen Beteiligungsmodelle der Länder stärker harmonisiert werden.
