@ScottWRasmussen @BlueBoxDave Your point stands, but small correction: 860 of the 1000 interviews were on Saturday (war had started overnight) through Tu, the beginning days of the war. The main point: the enormous shift among Democrats I believe would still be visible now as well.

Israel has lost just 2 points in public support among Republicans since 2013. The antisemitic podcasters are having no impact because they are an information operation not a real phenomenon.

NBC poll: 57% of Democrats have a negative view of Israel. 54% of Republicans view Israel positively. Only 17% of Democratic voters sympathize with Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In our recent @NBCNews polling, Democrats are now far more likely to say they sympathize with the Palestinians instead of the Israelis, with 67% of Dems being more sympathetic to the Palestinians, compared to just 17% who say the Israelis. Additionally, two-thirds of Dems have a negative view of Israel, up from 35% in just 2023.
Speaking on the topic, Partner Bill McInturff (@pollsterguy) said, "this is unrecognizable in terms of where America was, and the Democratic Party was, for a 20-, 30-year history." He also noted that this will have implications on the 2028 Democratic primary, saying that it is "going to be fought on very, very different terrain in regards to the issue of Israel."

You can’t have powerful trend without having thought to ask the baseline question years earlier! Good work here and an important result.

@JakeLahut @CarrollDoherty David Broder and @danbalz were not aimlessly talking to voters in diners. They spent weeks in swing precincts going door-to-door interviewing voters. The Post’s kickoff Labor Day coverage always included their incisive summary about the mood of the American voter.

boyfriend is back in his small hometown for the holidays. called to say his dad is going to the ER, but it’s okay because my boyfriend knows the attending—in high school, he had a crush on the doctor’s daughter. I’ve seen enough Hallmark movies. I’m getting on a plane.

With the government re-opening today, here is some important historical context.
Yes, Democrats have seen an improvement on the generic ballot DURING previous shutdowns. But, once the shutdown is over, the generic ballot has historically bounced back to where it was PRIOR to the shutdown.
