STEVE BANNON: The Arabs and the Europeans got to step up. Israelis gotta do less in our war. What they're doing, they do on their own. But in this war that we're engaged in, let's get the definition of it. Let's get what the victory is and take the win. But to go total economic aspect of this, we have to do. And part of that is here in the United States of America and our allies got to step up.

@davepl1968 I would say that woke is about signaling virtues that one might not even have. It's a fad or craze that's not so different from a moral panic.

Being liberal doesn't make you woke, and being woke doesn't make you liberal. Being woke means you spend most of your time telegraphing your own virtues and measuring those of others against your own, usually publicly. There's nothing wrong with being liberal. Heck, I consider myself progressive. But when you're woke, it's not the views that are problematic: it's the weaponization of those views.

@spongbobsdad @Mylovanov US involvement in Ukraine started back in the early 2000's under Bush. If you are unaware of it you should blame the News Media. Its been more than two decades and 3 US presidents (Bush, Obama, Biden) that actively intervened and worked to get Ukraine into NATO.

@SenRandPaul I was also against the US led project for the ascension of Ukraine into NATO, but it happened through 3 different presidents starting with Bush then Obama then Biden. Now the mess is here, Russia has invaded Ukraine and Ukraine is fighting for its existence. Have you no morals?

I've been one of the loudest voices in the Senate fighting to stop blank-check U.S. taxpayer dollars from flowing to Ukraine. I single-handedly blocked quick passage of the $40 billion Ukraine aid package by denying unanimous consent and demanding an independent Inspector General for real oversight. I then voted NO on final passage. I introduced the Ukraine Aid Oversight Act to force proper auditing of every dollar sent so Americans know exactly where their money is going. I publicly vowed to block any government funding bill that included more Ukraine aid. I led a filibuster and used procedural delays to slow and oppose the $95 billion foreign aid package (which contained roughly $60 billion more for Ukraine), calling it “Ukraine First, America Last.”

Those that are arguing against peace talks are complete sociopaths and should be called out for what they are. We MUST put an end to the war in Ukraine. Period.
