EU entry-exit system.
The whole digital borders plan is due to be complete within weeks: 9 April 2026.
But confusion abounds, eg:
“I’ve registered on a previous trip. Am I fast-tracked next time?” (No)
“Can I register my biometrics in advance?” (No)

This attitude, from a GP, highlights the challenge men face in getting a prostate cancer test.
My age, ethnicity and family history of the disease puts me firmly in the high risk category, hence I get an annual prostate cancer check.
If Jamie were my GP he’d refuse to test me.
Jamie Wallis@jamie_wallis
@BenObeseJecty Ben, there isn’t an “annual prostate check” for asymptomatic men and you shouldn’t be promoting this as an MP as it is harmful. PSA has not been demonstrated to be useful for screening purposes hence why there is no national screening programme.

@RosieSh97182906 @MichaelBaum11 Anecdote of 2 people against a study of 400,000. Which should we base public health policy on?
English

@RishiSunak The evidence is not clear. General screening using PSA would be a waste of time and money as it is ineffective see the letter by Prof Baum in todays Times. MRI screening needs to be trialled and evaluated.
English

@RishiSunak I think we already do. When you hit 55 I think, your invited for a blood test PSA, if it's raised you are referred for further investigation. Unfortunately some get it earlier and slip the net.

@helenstaniland @QcWynter Do you know what’s even better? Cream, custard and ice cream.
English

@QcWynter It was absolutely delicious. And (whispers) cream *and* custard.

@Psychgirl211 @Glinner This is so disgusting! Personally I’m horrified by what our society has allowed to happen. Question for you as I’m American, what exactly is a Theater Sister? I’m a Surgical Technologist and always learning.
English

They are getting strokes too @Glinner.
My SIL is a Theatre Sister in neurosurgery at a big London hospital.
She told me they're starting to get 'Transmen' in their 20s coming in with strokes as a result of being on testosterone.
They've had three in the last year.
This is something she'd previously seen only twice before in over 40 years in the NHS, following pregnancy.
She said they're "not allowed" to talk about what's happening.
It's being covered up.
Terf_Rocks@Terf_Rocks
1. Graham does a great job of informing the audience about the realities of what happens to the bodies of young females who think they are trans & then have surgery & take drugs. I hope the millions who were unaware are as shocked & saddened as they should be. It’s awful!

@gilescoren @mgtmccartney Wow how shallow Giles. Dr McCartney is a well respected doctor with an expertise in evidence based medicine. Perhaps a debate rather than a shutdown.
English

@mgtmccartney I’ll give you a minute to read that and then I’ll quietly and politely block you because that’s what I do with conspiracy theorists who use people’s followings to try and get traction for their wacko vested interest ideas. It’s not meant out of any personal disrespect.
English

your intentions may be honourable @gilescoren but you are getting the science wrong. Screening is complex and counter intuitive. It can be easy to think that you are doing good while causing harm. If you'd like to discuss (even over lunch) - let me know.....
English

@QcWynter Not sure why doctors were asked to search for emails. In my Trust it was IT that did the FOI and legal searches.
English

Judges are unlikely to find that witnesses have lied if there is some plausible alternative explanation as to why any particular witness "forgot".
That is fair & reasonable.
When the No. of witnesses who "forgot" reaches 6, a smell may start to develop.
We will see.

Tipped off the train & marooned in Reading…
Fucking Reading…
@rickygervais any lazy leisure activities you’d recommend…?

@AllysonPollock No NHS staff should wear anything other than a name badge. No pride no flags nothing else.

This gay man lives as a full-time drag queen. I wouldn't care about him and his medical nonconformity except that he uses women's spaces.
While he may seem like a harmless, confused twink, he is normalizing & desensitizing boundary violations against women. He is paving a path for predatory men like Nick "Lily" Tino to practice his exhibitionism in women's bathrooms.
Thus he colludes in male abuse against women and girls. And ultimately, is himself an abuser.

@ArturNadol7566 @_HenryBolton WTF isca holiday tree? How do you get it in a suitcase?
English

@_HenryBolton Maybe we should just start calling them "spring eggs" and "holiday trees," then everyone can celebrate together over a buffet of cultural dishes! Who's bringing the hummus?
English

Interesting isn’t it, how non-Muslim NHS staff are being asked to mark Ramadan to support their Muslim work colleagues, yet we are encouraged not to refer to “Easter” eggs or “Christmas” for fear of not making Muslims excluded.
Perhaps we should ask Muslim NHS workers to eat Christmas cake Christmas pudding and Easter eggs to support their Christian colleagues.
