@salesforce - Why release a version called Summer when it is Winter? Looking forward to the opening of the Australian ski season this week. FYI (feels like you need it) exactly half of the world is not in summer right now. Are you a global company?

@PierreEscrieut @Teslaconomics @BMWGroup Not really the same thing but a valiant effort. "This is made possible by sensors installed along the route – creating the largest LIDAR infrastructure in Europe – and relying on an externally generated environment model and an external movement planner."

What many $TSLA investors don’t realize is that this isn’t some distant future, it’s already happening. Tesla FSD is moving cars from the factory floor to the loading dock without a human driver, cutting out labor costs and improving efficiency. The first company to benefit from this? Tesla. And the same will happen with Optimus. When humanoid robots take over repetitive tasks, Tesla will see operational costs drop while productivity gets boosted. How will competitors ever keep up with Tesla? Difficult to see them catching up any time soon.

Rob (@TeslaPodcast) is such a class act. On one hand, I'm really sad about "The End"...on the other hand, I'm so excited for him and his next chapter. 🫡 to the OG of the Tesla retail community. youtu.be/Sc4qPBTQmdw?si…

@GrantDickins_ @techAU The chargers not working well have very little to do with the plug. Tritium with NACS will still likely be out of order.

What a joke, multiple charging companies, and none work well. We need a single system and standard. Go NACS with 'Magic Docks' (CCS). If we MUST keep CCS, at least let Tesla do the heavy hauling. Right now it's bloated, overpriced, multi-owned and unreliable. This will destroy public confidence in EV charging.

Tritium troubles could be a win for competitors - techau.com.au/tritium-troubl… Today the Australian Financial Review published a scathing article about EV charger business Tritium. The article suggests that Tritium, a business that started in Brisbane but has since expanded internationally, is struggling to make ends meet. The report says Tritium is struggling for cash, asking the Queensland Government for a $90 Million investment. Jane Hunter joined the company in 2019 as the COO and by March 2020, she was the CEO and Executive Director. Hunter suggests that US Government grants that Tritium could potentially leverage, are not available until January, and that would be too late for them, suggesting just how critical the financial situation is at Tritium. On the surface, Tritium should be well positioned to be flying high right now, with investment in EV charging infrastructure higher than ever. Demand for EVs continues to grow, despite a few announcements by legacy automakers this week that they are slowing their migration to EVs due to internal financial pressures. The charging infrastructure space in Australia is a rapidly evolving landscape, with early entrants like Tesla rolling their own hardware, while the larger charging networks Chargefox, NRMA and Evie Networks both buy hardware from Tritium. Since then, the competition has arrived, with the charging networks not going exclusively with one provider, but instead choosing to diversify. It seems the chargers deployed by JOLT, GetElectric, Shell, BP Pulse and others tend to deploy chargers from a variety of charger manufacturers. Adding to the challenges for the company is a growing set of negative reviews from EV owners who arrive at charging locations, only to find chargers out of order and more often than not, it's a Tritium Charger that is out of order.
