Kelsey Daniel (Texas) 🇹🇹 landed a new Personal Best (PB) of 8.21m to win the men's Long Jump at the SEC Indoor Championships in Texas!
He improved the Trinidadian Long Jump record, beating Jordan Turner (LSU) 🇯🇲 who jumped 8.11m in 2nd place.

Georgia Hunter Bell will now almost certainly be upgraded to silver in the 1500m at last year's World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing.
This is after Diribe Welteji, who finished second in that race, was disqualified after failing to provide a sample on February 25, 2025.
Hunter Bell is the British 1500m record-holder (3:52.61) and also has an Olympic 1500m bronze, European 1500m silver and world 800m silver to her name.

Louie Hinchliffe 🇬🇧 has rejoined the NCAA and University of Houston’s track & field program!!👀
The 2024 NCAA 100m champion initially turned pro after the Paris Olympics, signing with ASICS. However, a stress fracture in his back and a hamstring injury sidelined him for much of the 2025 season.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Hinchliffe reached out to resume working with coach Carl Lewis, who only coaches athletes enrolled in school or graduates. That decision set in motion a months-long reinstatement process.
Houston submitted his ASICS contract to NIL Go for approval, after which he completed the NCAA Student-Athlete Reinstatement Process. He enrolled for the spring semester in January and received official NCAA clearance this week.
Hinchliffe now has two years of NCAA eligibility remaining and make his return at the Big 12 Indoor Championships!
