The marketing term, "Grass-fed", is fairly meaningless now days. Kerrygold butter was recently unsuccessfully sued for not disclosing that their grass-fed cows also ate grains. It's not a lie. It's just not the complete truth. Opt for 100% grass-fed or grass-fed/grass-finished if you want the real deal. "Grass-fed" by itself, is just noise. Source: parkerpasturesgrassfed (IG)

Farmer here. 100% grass fed is unnecessarily boutique and wastefully luxurious. A 100% grass fed beef tasted like a starved 5 year old deer. Gamey, dry and tough. Plus, it takes a pile of additional time to finish the animal. Most importantly - it’s not healthier for the animal. We tried 100% grass fed sheep. The ewes were unhealthy, we lost several moms during lambing and the lambs were poorly developed. Grass feed and pasture the animals. Absolutely. 100%. But they need to be carefully and thoughtfully supplemented with grain. We use non-GMO milo and barley that we grow right on our own operation plus field peas for protein. This cancerous unicorn of a bar that’s being set of 100% grass fed or nothing is hurting the animals, hurting the farmer and isn’t getting the consumer any improved health benefits.

@saylordocs Theaters have always worked like this. They don't make money on the tickets (that goes to the studios). They make money on the concessions. Ergo, concessions have always been grossly overpriced compared to the same items outside a theater.

These comics looked absolutely electric on the stands. When people are critical of the 90s in comics, they're referring to the glut of trash that was overprinted. But SAM KIETH absolutely entertained and inspired my generation. He will be sorely missed.

@JeanGen09181213 I, personally, don't approach celebrities, because I put myself in their shoes when I see them out. But they need to understand that along with the perks of fame come the downsides of fame. It is what it is. Handle it with grace.

On one hand, I've seen how crazy ppl can get w/celebs, so I understand the strict boundary enforcement. OTOH, it was an 11 yr old girl passing by her table, not a rabid fan or paparazzi. wave to kid, say hi, and move on. That or have breakfast in your room.

Apparently, the Persian Gulf is providing a real-time test of the notion that the A-10 is so imprecise that it couldn't hit the broad side of Utah. They're hunting and killing speedboats in the Gulf, which means they most certainly can hunt and kill tanks. This loitering, monitoring, and prosecuting mission is something the F-35 certainly can't do, while the Warthog can.
