To balance the toxicity that @Meta @instagram @tiktok_us and @Twitter have ALL become because they keep allowing misinformation and antisemitic rhetoric on their platforms, I want to start a daily series to counter that. My first is going to someone who is very special to me.

@AmazonHelp Hello. My Amazon account was hacked last Sunday & I’ve yet to receive the account recovery email I was promised I’d receive in 1-2 days. I’d like to recover my account ASAP & need a way to send my ID that doesn’t require log in as the hacker broke my 2FA.

@AmazonHelp @JeffBezos and this recovery form: amazon.com/gp/help/custom… only works if the hacker didn’t get you locked out of your account by changing all of your log in credentials. Because it requires logging in. Which is kind of defeating the purpose since the hacker stole my account.

@JeffBezos @bbb_us to add that I have a vested interest in recovery my account is an understatement as I have YEARS worth of kindle & digital media content & account credits that I was getting ready to us for my next order. Creating a new account won’t restore this apparently.

@JeffBezos please realize that for each day a victim of an account hacking is unable to access their account, that that is one more day that a legitimate customer cannot spend money with your company. This not only hurts the victim financially but also you.
