The future of AI started with an expectation from top technologists of what it will be and what it will reach in the distant future for humanity. The idea here is how to actually use it because it is a tool like any tool that is a little bit advanced but in the end it is a tool that helps you. Perhaps in the future, after 100/200 years, it will evolve to be a thoughtful companion and be able to make decisions on its own without referring to humans. A little scary but yes maybe it happens. Abilities should be scaled a bit in this race that pushes it with side damage to be visible (I'm not against it or with it) but let's slow down a bit in the unknown. NO RISK NO FUN right?

so far at least, i'm pretty sure AI has been net job-creating. this was not what i expected--although i was much less pessimistic than others, i thought by this level of capability we'd have seen some impact. it is possible this direction keeps going!
