@BitsGems @cursor_ai The old birefnet tech is still absolutely relevant I haven't seen anyone make better results yet. For pixelart there have been better I believe. I think the next breakthrough will be with the new generation of image/video models.

Indeed. It's just a POC. We could run this a 100 times, because svgs dont really cost many tokens and choose best among them similar to how we'd do it with imagegen for pngs. What makes these exceptionally good is that every element is independently programmable. I will further explore the feasibility of humanoids + isometric rather than top down to see how far can we take this system

@startracker Ahh interesting, I think I see what you mean. From a overall style perspective I think I prefer 5.5. There's a simpler more cohesive style happening, but the parts don't seem to line up quite right.

Well from what i've seen myself, all 3 models perform quite well out of the box. I'm a bit biased towards Opus 4.8 but given it was just one attempt, I'm sure all of them are at similar level. However I think there's deeper understanding of svg math in Opus 4.8 than earlier models. If you zoom in, it feels more correct mathematically.

Claude Opus 4.8 is now available in Cursor. On CursorBench, it's able to work much more efficiently than Opus 4.7. We've also found it to be more persistent on harder tasks.
