👨👩👦👦 This stepdad shares what he did when he saw the child support numbers that would bankrupt the biological father of his wife’s kids.
In 2006 he married a woman with two children. When the court-ordered child support and alimony payments came through (over $3,000 a month total), he went back to court and got them reduced to about $400 a month because he refused to “enjoy a boat that another guy pays for.” He took full financial responsibility himself.
Years later he even fought to wipe out back support so the dad wouldn’t be ruined.
This was this man's choice to make and he wanted to step up and support his new family... I truly applaud him for it. Do you think he made a wise decision?

Now you’re trying to justify your verifiably wrong assumptions.
And yes, a woman can get any job. Unless there are extreme physical requirements (like being a Navy seal.)
But it’s more than that. Women almost always have some advantage via investors, borrowing/lending, soliciting, you name it.
The only people who tell you otherwise have never ran a business, or are some billionaire or political activist concerned with favorability points.
You can even look up ESG benefits for women. It’s insane.
And to claim women are anything but advantaged in the commercial world is objectively antithetical to the real data.
Women have a massive advantage in education too.
You can’t even say about W2 jobs that they are disadvantaged because women hold the majority of those as well. 🤣
