@StevenMackey @briankeepsworth Paul is claiming that DESPITE the fact that they worshiped false gods, they ALSO had an altar with which they truly worshipped the one true God, which could not be unless they had come to some knowledge of it, and so WHAT they DID worship as unknown, THAT is what Paul preached.

@MikeTheZombi @briankeepsworth You mean to say that because the Greeks had idols that’s an endorsement of their idols? Paul is declaring that the “unknown” God is the only God. Clearly if that God is unknown it’s anything but an endorsement of Greek thought.

How is this any different than the church investing tithes into the stock market?

@idlehandsdev You don’t need a giant heavy metal cage to be super mobile in the middle of the ocean if your rocket has legs. A rocket with legs can land virtually anywhere.

I know everyone is jumping on this bandwagon, but honestly does anyone have a legitimate reason why the falcon 9 has landing legs at all? I’ve wondered this forever. If they have designated landing locations anyway, and can’t deviate landing site, why waste fuel flying them?

@minchoi I haven’t seen anyone mention how slowly it moves. It must consume a huge amount of fuel on the landing.

God is rational, but He’s not exactly subject to what we can observe and reason in reality. This is why revelation is such a critical part of knowing God. Better to listen to God tell you about Himself, then for you to reason a god into your mind. Plato was not a prophet. Moses was.
