This is almost the perfect TikTokable app - Highly visual main app feature - Basic TikTok format is easily replicable- just clips running - Advanced formats are infinite: Run through sketchy neighborhoods, run through private spaces, etc - Infinite outlier events
Simone Canc@simonecanciello

this app got 661k views with a faceless format. 0 competitors right now. it basically unlocks zones on a virtual map as you walk around your city. you could build one for running. it’s a great viral app idea.

@adriamatz vt.tiktok.com/ZSQjEWQL6/ This one has 7. 9m views but only 39 comments. I guess that means they’re boosting this like crazy? Spark ads? I’m still learning TikTok marketing but those numbers don’t add up

Stop overthinking your marketing Try this instead 👇 Slide 1: a hook Slide 2: a photo of your app That's the format pulling 40M view slideshows One indie hacker hit 700K users solo doing only this You can replicate it at scale Full playbook in the article

@YourPrivateProx @justddev I had assumed based on price that #1 was better, but scrolling TikTok bumps those rates per phone up fast. So if #2 works then that’s great news

@YourPrivateProx @justddev So we are looking at Decodo and they have two residential options: 1. Residential Proxy which is expensive (per gb) and can rotate 2. Static Residential IPs which are rather cheap with unlimited bandwidth Grok and ChatGPT both said #2 is better because of the static IP

@YourPrivateProx @justddev Yes. We are experimenting with 3 residential proxy providers this week. Thanks for the reply

Hetzner ASN is flagged as hosting infra by TikTok's network layer — same issue as any DC provider. Residential is the right move. For TikTok specifically: sticky sessions matter more than rotation. Rotating per-post looks like bot behavior to their account scorer; consistent IP per account is what you want.

You could always offer pay for services, which could be legal or illegal and both parties would be liable for consequences. This is not any different at its core. The big difference is the framing, and more than anything it shows where our culture is currently.

I wanted a quick way to see which ads were performing best in which market So I created a script that shows me a visual layout I also get caught up making conclusions before enough data. So it shows me when it needs more data So far the tiktok ai generated screen recording british ad is performing best. If I just aim in US market with that ad my conv would be 6%

It’s working! I’m also running a second experiment using the exact same formula and seeing similar results

Spinning up the marketing machine. Experimenting with everything from a small phone farm, paid farms in the U.S., Content Reward and ads. For now creating all our own content. I think we have some solid formats but need to start testing live.

Bitcoin has never spent this much time in the lower bands of the rainbow chart. When the reversal happens, it will be violent. When the price returns to the upper red/orange bands, it will mean a $1M+ BTC value. Clarity Act and interest rate cuts are coming soon.

This isn't necessarily true. Speaking to people of lower intelligence is a skill like any other. When you're trying to get a concept across, you have to start from the right entry point. You build the concept from the parts the lower-IQ person can understand. You watch their body language and their tone of voice and other little cues to suss out whether they're tracking with you or not. Often you have to relate the subject to something they're interested in, build a chain from their own interests to what you're describing. It's a bit of work, but someone with patience and a will can teach almost anything to almost anyone. There are limits, of course, and without some initial buy-in you're going to lose the person somewhere along the way. It's an investment of time and energy for both of you, after all. But here's the thing: even low-IQ people are often delighted to learn if they feel they are being respected and if they feel it's in their interests. If you approach the problem in the spirit of help -- honestly and without prejudice trying to do the person good for their own good -- then they'll sense that fact and will tend to be receptive. Start from a position of good faith, assume good faith on the other's part, and just be a decent human being about it, and you can communicate much more than you'd expect to be possible.
Jøhnathan@Heavenly_Race_

Once you hit about a 20-point IQ gap, communication starts to completely break down. It's not that the lower IQ person is "stupid" (although that can often be the case) or the higher one is arrogant, it's that you're literally operating on different systems. A 20 point difference (roughly 1.3 standard deviations) means: Vocabulary and abstraction levels diverge sharply. What feels like crystal clear logic to one side sounds like vague, pretentious word salad to the other. Jokes land flat. Metaphors get taken literally. Complex cause and effect chains get simplified into "this good, that bad." Different time horizons and pattern recognition. One person thinks in months or years and sees systems, the other is locked into days or immediate rewards. Trying to explain second order effects feels like speaking another language. Also, processing speed and working memory gaps. The higher IQ person is already three steps ahead, getting impatient. The lower IQ person feels talked down to or overwhelmed. Both walk away frustrated. Both have wasted each others time.

This app called BitePal made: - 500K installs/mo - a revenue of $1M/mo with a starving racoon > excessively long onboarding (37 whole steps of personalization) > citing medical sources (Harvard) which gives authority and trust > immediately shows what it's like to loose all this, by promising long-term results and comparison with other dieting apps > their virtual pet is almost more famous than the duolingo owl > visualized goal timeline for a concrete and realistic outcome > super personalized experience up until paywall > hard paywall with bright colors "goals 4.2x faster" causes higher subscription rate > they are also competing against brand keywords from their strongest competitors

@alexxgrowth So this clipper is just posting rotating content on a 1.5m follower account? How do they maintain 1.5m followers if they’re just constantly rotating content?

a lot of people often ask me how we get such low eCPMs for brands at Content Rewards well here's how: cantina launched a $20k campaign with Content Rewards 2 days ago and overnight they already received 801 submissions 112 of them got approved, getting them close to 8 million views the highest-paying creator posted 6 videos which all got +200k to +700k views the clipper made close to $1,800 in the span of 48 hours this clipper has an Instagram account with 1.5m followers you would not be able to attract these type of creators if you start a $500 to $1,000 campaign the biggest creators already have an infrastructure of big pages they know they can get millions and millions of views they know that even though their video will get a lot of views your campaign budget will probably run out and you won't be able to pay them that's why big budgets get you lower CPM you attract premium creators who get millions and millions of views you only pay them till the max payout and since your video is their page's usual content, they never delete it and your eCPM comes down to $0.22 to $0.09 sometimes
