Just a reminder that all the people making fun of the "No Kings" protests because they say America hasn't had a king in over 200 years are the same people who 15 years ago called themselves the "Tea Party" and were protesting that Obama was trying to become a king.

@transcended @SFGate They had different timelines because one defendant waived his right to a speedy trial, and the other didn't. Regardless, both had trials with juries who heard the evidence. And both juries convicted.

Yeah the jury who heard it YEARS after it occurred bc of endless delays, long after all the public had forgotten what the overall sentiment was towards Asians at that time bc of covid. Yet when Paul Pelosi was attacked by a literal schizophrenic lunatic that guy was in prison for life long before Grandpa Vicha ever got a trial. If you want to pretend that’s justice go ahead but you won’t convince me.
