Fwiw, I think everyone is going to do this now. It’s a much better UI for the “new way of coding”. Cursor’s main UI has been in a rough state for like a year now. I really like that they are resetting. Overdue tbh. Also really like that they support ACP, might have T3 Code support in near future? 👀👀 (Composer 2 is really good, don’t sleep on Cursor) (Also insert obligatory *I’m an early investor with early access* bias accountability)

Cursor just dropped a T3 Code clone

Nice. @cursor_ai just dropped their new "Glass" alpha, and they're leaning heavily into the simplified coding GUI trend that's been blowing up lately. First impressions are really positive. And just look at how insanely fast Composer 2 is. First impressions? Drop yours 👇

@melvynx its faster and tends to follow the plan better when opus ends up skipping some parts

how fast is composer-2-fast? watch an uncut video of @cursor_ai composer-2-fast going from prompt to a nextjs app in 2 minutes. the app being used to build and render said apps was also made using composer 2 :) personally think it's not half bad with UI! this is a good model @ericzakariasson @leerob

@kr0der ive been heavily using it for frontend tasks and i can say so far it is on par for opus in terms of ui/ux taste, and intent on what needs to be changed, i throw in an image and talk about how the ux should feel and its able to get it right most of the time

Composer 2 just dropped in Cursor - i got early access for a few days and here are my first impressions: - it's very very fast so it feels amazing for sync coding or potentially as a daily driver - i've been using it for "flow-state coding" alongside Cursor Tab which has been extremely fun - GPT 5.4 is still the smartest model - it does feel similar to Opus 4.6 like the benchmark says - i haven't tested it on a lot of major frontend tasks so no comment on if it's replacing Opus 4.6 for me, but right now i almost only use GPT 5.4 High + Composer 2 - you get ~$800 of Composer usage last time i calculated, so $800+$500 of API usage = ~$1300 total usage in Cursor, so no more "super low limits!!" complaints from people IMPORTANT: keep in mind it's only been a few days, it's impossible to get a solid read on a model in a few days, these are just first impressions

Composer 2 is now available in Cursor.
