@captaincupkicks This is a fundamentally flawed line of thinking. This Hulk showcased the most important aspect of the anger in terms of Hulk lore: Hulk struggled until he got angry enough. That’s comic accurate. Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets. Period.

Half the community is going to hate me for saying this, but the only way to keep Bungie alive right now is to support Marathon. People keep comparing Marathon numbers to Destiny and frankly, that's ignorant. Marathon was never designed to do Bungie numbers. The conversations about that were very upfront early. It's more aligned with Tarkov than Destiny. Completely different target markets that just so happen to have a wide intersection with Destiny target markets since it uniquely has so many.

@keronage @samikatplays Bungie was below the red line before the Sony acquisition. If it wasn’t acquired right then, the studio was very close to shutting its doors at the very least on Destiny. It was an emergency acquisition

@LEGO_Group @DCOfficial look, I say this as a Batman fan: we see what you’re giving Marvel fans in January and we know what’s releasing for the “DC Superheroes” line. I’m tired of Batmobiles and expensive collector’s sets. Give us PLAYSETS without Batman or Bat adjacent figures.

@ghostfivenine @TheManPartII There’s literally nothing inherently wrong with CGI animals or the Mary Poppins thing. Spider-Man is a child friendly property, so silliness will happen because he’s not all quips. Again, emotional gravitas and the ability to know when not to define three of those guys.

@ghostfivenine @TheManPartII The only director on that list I even remotely agree with you on is Watiti. The others still provided emotional gravitas AND room for serious scenes to breathe. Both Guardians and Spider-Man are meant to be more jokey. You need to chill out.

However, I can also reasonably infer from those quotes that short form content can and has had an effect on younger generations as well, changing how they produce and market shows and films. You don’t have to like what I say. 🤷🏻‍♂️

And I am very aware not all noir is in black and white. But ALMOST all of the influences for the show WERE black and white.
