@GrandDaughterX in sports athletes can have spurts, where they suddenly pick up momentum and increase their standings. Tommy Paul in tennis was ranked around 50 to 30 for many years, then in his mid 20’s, he jumped to top 10 or top 15. you might be able to catch up to the pros in golf.

@JenniferSey they also spread too thin, into other markets. for example, they sell nike weights/ gym equipment. if they stick with apparel and maybe extras (like gloves/ hats), they might be able to bounce back.

Nike stock is at an 8.5 year low.
The stock is down 70% since their high in 2021.
They abandoned their core customer.
They abandoned core wholesale distribution.
They neglected the running category and the competition swooped in.
And they sold women out.
Not to mention their China business took a nosedive.
Go woke go broke is far too simplistic to sum up their mistakes. But they did that too.
